Season Outlook

Last Season, the Lutheran South Lancers lost the Class 4 State Championship game and finished the season with a 23-9-1 record.  This spring they open ranked number three in the MHSBCA Poll.  The Lancers will return six position players and three pitchers from last years team, with a pair of  standout seniors leading the way.  Senior Justin Budrovich earned First Team All Conference honors and senior pitcher Elijah Schumer earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors last season.  They will also feature a pair juniors that earned All-Conference accolades last season in SS Vito Orlando and OF Brendan Kuhlmann.  Sophomore catcher Brandon Hager will return behind the plate after earning 2nd Team All-Conference.  Lutheran South will prepare for another run at state this spring behind this group of all-conference performers.
