Louisiana Top Prospect Games: Pitcher Reports

The Louisiana Top Prospect Games was held on June 13th at the University of Louisiana - Lafayette. This was an invite-only event that consisted of prospects from the 2024-2026 classes. All players in attendance went through an extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast, the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw simulated innings during game play and were able to receive their numbers and metrics off of Trackman, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more.

Beau Allen, Catholic (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-10, 155-pounds. Athletic and lean
Delivery: Starts on 1B side of rubber, stays there, repeats an athletic delivery, brings glove from mid-section up high during a high leg lift, turns body inward to hide ball at balance point, strides on-line and moves aggressively down the slope.
