2019 Right-handed Pitchers
Tyler Blum SS / Valle Catholic, MO / 2019Tyler Blum, RHP, Valle Catholic, 2019 Blum is a 6-foot-3 180-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class. Blum is a strike thrower with a mix of fastball and curveball, short over the top release, smooth temp and rhythm, in line stride, hides ball well, attacks hitters, fastball at 75-77 mph, some with late run, breaking ball as gradual 11-to-5 shape, 64-67 mph, kept hitters off balance in game action, produces soft contact and off balance swings. |
Braxton Bragg 1B / Liberty, MO / 2019Bragg is a 6-foot-2 180-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class. Bragg has a strong frame with room to grow, comes from a high three quarters slot, smooth delivery, short and loose arm action, fastball has run and some sink at 84-87 mph, slider has tight 10-to-4 spin, late break, 71-72 mph, throws with fastball arm speed, curveball at 64-66 mph, more 11-to-5 action, throws for a strike, keeps hitters off balance, produces several swing and miss, and worked the entire zone, showed feel for all pitches. |
Braden Burcham RHP / Timberland, MO / 2019Burcham is a 6-foot-3 155-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class. Burcham has smooth tempo and rhythm in delivery, comes from an over the top release point, short arm circle, creates in line direction down the mound, threw high number of strikes with fastball and breaking ball, throws fastball downhill at 80-81 mph, bottom of the zone, curveball at 67-70 mph, occasional sharpness, good feel, pitched to contact during outing showing command of strike zone, lean and projectable frame with more in the tank as he continues to develop. |
Tristan Camp RHP / Montgomery County, MO / 2019Camp is a 6-foot-1 190-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class. Camp has a three quarters arm slot, strong bodied, works both sides of the plate, all pitches have movement, hitters don’t see ball until release, in line stride to slightly across body, throws all pitches from same arm slot with same arm speed, fastball at 80-83 mph, late running action, sweeping slider with 10-to-4 action, late break, tough on right-handed hitters. |
