San Diego Swing: San Diego League All-Star Game

Jack Shannon
San Diego Area Scout

El Cajon, CA - The stars were out and so were facial coverings as the 2020 San Diego League All-Star game commenced under the hot El Cajon sun. An abundance of talent was on display with multiple future pros showcasing their skills. The boys played fast; showed big league infield defense, pitchers attacked the strike zone, hitters swung freely, aggressive base running, diving plays and a couple subtle bat flips.

The eight team league consists of two divisions, Sea and Land. The high scoring affair resulted in the Sea winning 10-6 over the Land, with San Diego State infielder Mike Jarvis taking home MVP honors. The game was played with an on-field Rapsodo pitching unit and Blast sensors providing necessary metrics from the game.
