NORTHERN CALIFORNIA - Three games last week (two between Foothill HS and California HS) provided important looks at some highly ranked pitching prospects.
3/31 - Foothill at California
4/1 - Drake at Tamalpais - 2022 RHP Grant Selig
4/2 - California at Foothill - 2022 LHP Nic Bronzini & 2021 RHP Matt Ager
Reports and video (when it was collected) have been put into the player's profiles and are visible in this piece.

3/31/21 - California at Foothill & 4/2/21 Foothill at California
Committed players in these two games, 2021 CF Caleb Lammle of Foothill (UCSB), 2022 CF Raoul Fabian of California (LBSU), 2021 LHP Nathan Shinn (SF State), 2022 LHP Nic Bronzini (Arizona), & 2021 RHP Matt Ager (UCSB). There were some uncommitted seniors who stood out and some other juniors and sophs of note... reports below.
Raoul Fabian has a strong build on average size frame, played CF and hit lead-off; 2-4 (1B, 4-3, HR, 6-4), ran 4.41 down line on 4-3 put-out, short stroke with strength and gap to gap approach, has barrel awareness, aggressive to FB early in the count, HR was on first pitch in his 3rd AB in 0-0 game, plays with energy while staying connected to teammates, no difficult plays in the OF while making routine plays look routine.

4/1/21 - Drake at Tamalpais
The main draw here was to see a relief appearance by 2022 RHP Grant Selig of Tamalpais (Arizona commit), which did take place. Also came across a talented 2021 uncommitted RHP, Tommy Flynn of Tam and had another look at 2022 1B Matteo Bellisimo and 2021 SS Jake Ferguson, both also of Tam.
Grant Selig has a strong stout build on average frame/body. His delivery/release/finish seems patterned after Craig Kimbrel, short circle on backside (he was a catcher when entering HS)...
