Orlando Ribalta, RHP, Miami-Dade (FL), RS-Soph.
A former position player, he has recently moved to the mound and has paid some big dividends. At 6-foot-7, 245 pounds, he is an imposing figure on the mound. Working from the stretch only, he gets above average extension and the fastball worked 93-95 mph with life. The slider will need to improve some, but showed quality shape at 79-80 mph. He would strike out one in a clean 1-2-3 inning and will be a very high MLB Draft follow.
