10/10/18 - Chaidez continues to impress scouts with his loose, easy arm action and command of three pitches. He pounds the zone with a running fastball that touched 93 and lived 90-92. Worked the pitch to all quadrants of the strike zone and generally induced weak contact. Curveball is tight with sharp downer break. He left a couple up but was not hurt by it. He generally starts the pitch at the knees and it's 1/7 shape and downer break does the rest. Changeup shows fading action away from lefties and he back-footed the pitch to righties generating swing-and-miss and weak contact during his two inning outing.
