Infielder
Gip Burrows INF Lake Hamilton HS, showed the best actions during out infield evaluation portion of the day. He played through the baseball with soft hands, fluid footwork, his quick exchange and an accurate arm. His velocity across the infield was 73 mph. Offensively he has a compact line drive swing that allowed him to hit the ball to all fields. He starts from athletic stance, with a smooth load and attacks the baseball with fast bat speed at 85 mph. He would benefit from adding strength but overall a solid player with good actions
Outfielder
Luke Price OF Dover HS, had a good day getting multiple hits in the scrimmage portion of the day. In the outfield he worked through the baseball showing off an accurate arm with carry. Offensively Price has high level bat speed with a slight up swing, which can get rotational at times. He has a good feel for the barrel and maintains balance throughout his swing. Right now Price has a disconnected lower half if he can clean that up he has the physical tools to hit for power at any level. Overall Price was the most physical player in the Unsigned Senior Games, his game has the rawness of a three sport athlete if he concentrates on baseball, he will be a very solid college player.
Pitcher
Chase Kyzer RHP Cabot HS, looked sharp during the game portion of the day striking out three and allowing one hit. He pitches from an over the top arm slot. He has a deceptive arm action and pounded the strike zone with a fastball of 83-85 mph. The key to his success was his slider with late sharp 10/4 break. He has repeatable mechanics and a feel for the strike zone with two pitches. Overall Kyzer is a quality right-hander who should throw harder as he continues to develop. He looks to be ready to contribute collegiately right- away with a swing in slider and deceptive arm action.
