Little Rock Signs Three Arkansas in the Early Signing Period

Little Rock commits 3 Arkansans in the early signing period.
Hayden Arnold, RHP, Watson Chapel HS
Arnold is a 6-foot-2 170-pound right-hander with an athletic frame and an athletic frame. He works from an H ¾ arm slot with a loose quick arm. He has a repeatable delivery with easy effort and an average balance point. He located his fastball with slight run 85-88 mph. His secondary were effective, he located his curveball was throw 72-74 mph with early 11/5 break. His changeup had more deception thrown with near fastball arm speed and 75-77 mph with arm side run. Overall Arnold is a projectable right-hander with a loose arm. He will improve if he will get consistent extension to home plate.
Arnold is the No. 13 player in the Arkansas rankings and the No. 5 RHP.
Kinner Brasher, OF, Southside HS
Brasher is a 6-foot 160-pound outfielder with an athletic frame and build. Brasher is a premium athlete running a 6.66 in the 60. He shows solid abilities in the outfield playing through the baseball with fluid foot work, and a normal exchange. He throws the ball accurately with carry. Offensively he starts from a tall stance, using a minimum load stride combination, he attacks the baseball with a line drive swing, he leaves his back side behind. He has a feel for the barrel and consistently sprays balls to all fields. Overall Brasher is a well-rounded player with a premium run tool and sound a defensive skill set.
Brasher is the No. 20 ranked player in the Arkansas Rankings and the No. 3 OF.
Cooper Van Kooten, MIF Greenwood HS
Van Kooten is a 6-foot 170-pound middle infielder with a large frame and an athletic build. He shows good infield actions and plays through the baseball. He throws the ball 82 mph across the infield with a loose arm from a high ¾ arm slot. Offensively he attacks the baseball with a line drive swing. He maintains rhythm and balance through extension. He has a feel for his barrel and keeps it in the hit zone for an extended period of time. Overall Van Kooten is a solid player who has shown improvement every time I have seen him play, if that continues he will be a solid collegiate player.
Van Kooten is No. 33 ranked player in the Arkansas rankings and the No. 2 Second baseman.
