2018 MIF Pate Fullerton committed to Harding University earlier today. Fullerton is from Harding Academy, He is the No. 13 ranked player in the 2018 Arkansas rankings and is rated as the No.2 middle infielder in the class. Fullerton has been a consistent performer since breaking into the starting lineup for Harding Academy as a freshman. He has shown to be a steady defensive short stop, with a feel for the barrel, hitting balls to all fields. The last event Fullerton competed in was the 2016 All-State Games, below you will find my report from that event.
Pate Fullerton, MIF, Harding Academy, AR
Fullerton is a 5-foot-11, 160-pound middle infielder with an athletic frame. Defensively, he plays through the ball with fluid footwork and advanced actions. He uses a quick exchange and a short quick arm action. Offensively, he attacks the baseball with a compact, line-drive swing. He starts with an athletic stance and uses a simple load and stride. He has shown the ability to hit line drives to all fields on a consistent basis. Overallm Fullerton is an advanced player with a high baseball IQ.
