Jack Stevens RHP / OF / St. Joseph High School Academy , AB / 2027Stevens really made a name for himself with his performance at the St. Joseph's Academy Scout Day. The 2027 shows athleticism on the mound and can really spin the baseball out of a ¾ slot. The fastball has carry up the zone which he can spin north of 2300 rpm. It sat consistently in the 79-81 mph range. The curveball is also impressive. With tight two-plane break, it has 13+ inches of horizontal movement and over 7 inches of induced vertical break. The most impressive part, however, is that he can spin it at 2650 rpm. With the athleticism he possesses and the ability to spin the baseball, Stevens will be a 2027 to keep tabs on in the years to come.

Jake Brooks SS / 2B / St.Joseph's High School, AB / 2025Rankings StateRank: 54 / POS: 12
Brooks has always been known for his defensive abilities, as one of the best defensive infielders in his class. However, over the offseason his bat has taken major strides making him a threat on both sides of the ball. He uses his athleticism to generate torque and bat speed which allows him to drive the ball with authority up the middle and to the opposite field gap, reaching a max exit velocity of 92.4 mph. With present bat-to-ball and the athleticism Brooks shows on both sides of the ball, the ceiling is high for the 2024 SS who will be looking to make an impact at the dish in-game when the season kicks off.

Owen Coumont C / 3B / St. Josephs Academy , AB / 2026Rankings StateRank: 13 / POS: 2
One of the more intriguing 2026s in the province is Owen Coumont. He shows present strength on both sides of the ball. With a 1.99 POP time his ability to control the running game is evident. At the dish, Coumont stands out with his left handed swing and his ability to generate torque with his strong lower half. He consistently stayed back up the middle and to his opposite field gap, reaching a max EV of 93.5 mph. The strength and athleticism is there for Coumont which means the sky's the limit for the 2026 catcher out of the St. Joseph's Baseball Academy.

Luke Schmitt RHP / St. Joseph's, AB / 2024Another athletic RHP out of St. Joseph’s is true 2024/reclassed 2025 Luke Schmitt. He has a quick arm out of a low ¾ slot that adds plenty of arm side run to his sinker, which sat in the 82-83 mph range and had over 13 inches of horizontal break. He does well killing spin and movement on the changeup making it an effective offering when paired with the fastball. He has two breaking balls, the slider with over 12 inches of horizontal break (HB), and a curveball with similar HB but with more depth, 8 inches of induced vertical break. Schmitt will be looking to make an immediate impact when his summer season kicks off.

Nathan Flewelling C / OF / St. Joseph, AB / 2024Rankings StateRank: 6 / POS: 1
As one of the top players in the country, Flewelling continues to impress everytime we see him. Behind the dish he has a strong arm and quick transfer, having a POP time of 1.83 and catcher velocity of 82 mph. He also moves well behind the dish, utilizing his athleticism. In the box is where the Gonzaga commit really shines. The LHH shows present strength, maintains controlled aggression, and drives the ball back up the middle with authority. He reached a max exit velocity of 108.1 mph and had 6 balls hit over 102 mph. The Canadian JNT member is going to have an immediate impact wherever he steps on the field this summer.

Evan Russell RHP / St. Joseph Academy , AB / 2025Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 2
Russell continues to show us why he is one of the top 2025s in the province. He creates deception with a short/quick arm and located all 3 of his offerings for strikes. The fastball sits 84-86 mph and he has the ability to spin it north of 2300 rpm which adds carry when located up in the zone. He possesses two unique breaking balls that he tunnels well. The CB has 10 inches of induced vertical break and over 2300 rpm, while the slider has over 12 inches of horizontal break that he can spin north of 2500 rpm. The uncommitted 2025 will look to open some eyes this summer.
