Defensively, Ellis fields the ball inside of his body and displays athletic lateral movement. An accurate arm was also displayed. He also ran a 7.45 - 60. A 76 mph positional velocity was recorded. Overall, Ellis is a solid player and one to watch in the 2021 class.
