7/11/18 Defensively, hands are soft and confident in funneling from bottom up and out front. Everett showcases excellent footwork in attacking and playing through ball while gaining ground on throws. Hands and arm are quick in transfer and throws across the diamond. An accurate 83 mph arm was shown. Overall Everett showed makings of solid next level middle infield defender. Average foot speed of 7.25 in 60-yard dash was registered.
Offensively, the 5-foot-8 145-pound, right-handed hitter initiates swing from open set up with stride to neutral. He achieves solid separation through weight shift away from hands. Hip turn is aggressive and good leverage is achieved in staying behind baseball and rotating into a firm front side. Bat is on plane early and maintained late in hitting zone.
