A month makes a huge difference. We last saw Stover at the WV Top Prospect Games in June, and he has made significant strides since we have. Defensively, footwork was solid and an above average arm was displayed at 79 mph across the infield. His hands continue to be a definite strength and as he continues to mature, will be a huge asset for him. Foot speed is there with a 6.93-60 yard dash that was recorded.
Offensively, the 5-foot-8, 135-pound athlete displayed a stronger, quicker bat with more torque. Had one of the louder rounds of the day during the bp session. A 81-mph exit velocity was recorded. Overall, Stover continues his upward trend and will be a guy to watch during the fall and winter months.

The 5-foot-8, 135-pound middle infield prospect had an overall solid showing on this day. Offensively, Stover starts in a slightly open stance with hands at near ear level. He sprayed the ball to both gaps with consistency. A 71 mph bat exit was displayed. As he continues to get stronger and drive the ball more, look for him to have a lot of extra base hits.
Defensively, Stover showed a confident glove. He funnels the ball well and displayed solid footwork and poise for his age. A 76 mph arm was displayed across the diamond on this day. Overall, Stover will be a player to watch in the 2021 class.

Stover has early making of solid middle infield defender.
Offensively, the 5-foot-7 125-pound, right-handed hitter initiates swing from neutral set up with reverse toe tap and stride to neutral. There is balance and rhythm. Back elbow leak in front of the hands contributes to bat drag. A steep bat path is present. A bat exit velocity of 77 mph was recorded.
