6/10/24

Ebert presents a slender and athletic 5-foot-4 and 110-pound frame but makes the most of it as the left-handed hitter went 2-for-3 with two doubles, including the walk-off mercy rule hit on Friday. The leadoff hitter showed a simple contact-based line-drive approach, letting his hands do the work and driving the ball to all parts of the ballpark. Ebert additionally showed an aptitude for situational awareness, producing quality AB after quality AB. Defensively, the shortstop showed smooth, athletic actions. He showed solid makeup across the board throughout the entire week.

6/04/24

The 2029 middle infielder was one of many who either scored, drove in runs, or recorded multiple hits for Hitters, but also displayed some eye-catching tools. One of the first notable things that came along with Ebert’s game was his athleticism out of the box and up the middle. Being some time away from high school yet, Ebert’s athleticism was something to note and is projectable to the high school level. While currently 5-foot-4, 110 pounds, Ebert obviously has a ton of room for growth but should be able to carry the athleticism throughout the years. Ebert also flashed a smooth swing from the left side of the plate as he donned the top of the Hitters lineup that found immense success at Franklin Field.

6/04/24

Ebert, in an athletic 5-foot-4, 110-pound frame, showed well from the leadoff spot throughout all of Sunday in their doubleheader. Found multiple barrels in a quick, efficient swing path. Calm presence in the box, recognized spin and adjusted to offspeed pitches multiple times. Showcased power to all fields with base hits to the pull-side and opposite field on Sunday. Played a smooth shortstop, making the routine plays with ease. Projects well as a future left-handed hitting middle infielder as he continues to grow.
