Displaying a long lower half and athletic 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame with room for growth, Huss got the win on the mound for 5-star. Impressively, the righty threw six and two thirds innings not allowing a single earned run with four hits and six strikeouts. Mechanically, Huss is tall and loose on the mound. His mechanics are relaxed and fluid which make his pitching look effortless. He has a small leg kick with a low 3/4 arm slot and throws out of the slide step with runners on base. Huss possesses a 74-78 mph fastball which touched 79 mph. His fastball has natural run to it, with the ability to jam right handed hitter's arm side as well as paint the outside corner. Although mostly fastballs, he mixed in a sharp slider at 66-68 mph sparsely.
