The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
7.04
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
81.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The athlete's fastest 0-10-yard split time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
1.74
60 Yard Dash
The athlete's fastest 0-60-yard time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
7.04
Top Speed (MPH)
The athlete's fastest split time converted to miles per hour.
RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
The highest Edge Score within the given year. Edge Score is a comprehensive score that takes the core-six visual skills into account, providing an assessment of an athlete’s overall visual ability.

Positional Profile: RHP/3B Body: 5-11, 180-pounds. Athletic build with good proportions. Hit: RHH. Easy press back, gets to hitting position on time, from a slightly closed set up starting position. Flat, direct, drives balls middle/pull side. 64.6 mph bat speed with 20 G’s of rotational acceleration. Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 82.8 mph. 309’ max distance. Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Full arc, quick arm from a high 3Q arm slot. Defense: Two hand gather under midline, no wasted movement in making play to first, good clock, softness to hands. Run: 7.04 runner in the 60.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound freshman threw three pitches for strikes, including a fastball that he easily located to both sides of the plate at 78-81 mph. Wheeler’s fastball spun at a 2,281 rpm on average, an impressive rate for his velocity band, with true backspin and carry out the hand. His breaking ball has out-pitch potential, as Wheeler spun it at 67-69 mph while averaging 2,300-plus rpm that created sharp spin off an 11/5 plane, and he consistently landed it for strikes. Contrarily, he effectively limited spin and vertical rise on his changeup, keeping it down in the zone. Wheeler’s certainly a name we’ll monitor as the spring and summer seasons roll on.

Positional Profile: RHP/3B Body: 5-9, 155-pounds. Lean, compact strength. Hit: RHH. Tall setup, relaxed upper. 45 degree barrel set. Tight turn. Quick barrel turn. All fields. Power: 86.1 max exit velocity, averaged 77.2 mph. 251’ max distance. Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Easy arm action from 3/4 slot. Defense: Slow tempo, above average actions. Run: 7.28 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Slight side-step initiates a drop/drive delivery, tall at balance point before engaging downhill, strides closed to target and lands square; athletic finish. Arm Action: RH. Short arm draw, high 3/4 slot. Above-average arm speed. FB: T81.4, 78.1-81.1 mph. Lively out the hand, four-seam type and backspins it. Some strikes. T2337, 2281 average rpm. CB: 67.2-69.4 mph. 11/5 shape with depth and late break, occasional sweep, strikes and plays well off fastball to the arm-side. T2415, 2356 average rpm. CH: 69.3-71.4 mph. Lowers slot to fastball, some sink and played down in the zone. T1770, 1592 average rpm.
