We concluded our summer tournament circuit a couple weeks ago with the 17U Rock Summer Championship in Franklin, Wisconsin. This event targeted some of the top 2025 prospects from the state, as well as a couple surrounding states. Read on below to see which players stood out to our scouting staff from the event. 

Takeaways 

17U Indiana Mustangs - Fenimore

C Ethan Colling (Westfield, 2025)Strong, compact, 5-foot-9, 185-pound frame. Making the trip from Indiana, Colling turned in a standout performance and showed well on both sides of the ball on Saturday. Behind the dish, Colling showcased an above average arm that was accurate onto the bag from out of the crouch. With a 2.04-2.11 second pop time, Colling was able to cut down a runner trying for second along with staying aggressive keeping runners close with backpacks. At the plate, Colling went 2-for-3 with his sole RBI from a solo home run to center. Matching the frame, Colling’s swing tapped into the strength that he posses while turning around a quick bat that was on time. 

OF Bryce Haney (Triton Central, 2025)
Uncommitted. Lean 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame, Haney displayed strong bat-to-ball skills in Saturday’s 5-1 victory for the Indiana Mustangs. He went 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI single and roped a pull-side double down the line for his second knock of the game. The left handed outfielder displayed an open stance with a light load, and looked to pull the ball.

AHQ-Schmidt

OF/LHP Joe DuSell (St. Edward, 2025)
Physical, 6-foot, 207-pound frame, showed plus stuff during AHQ-Schmidt’s Saturday night pool-play game. The left-hander struck out six, four looking and two swinging, and surrendered one walk over two and two-thirds innings of work. Utilized a three pitch mix, relying heavily on his fastball and slider combination, both of which produced swings and misses. Displayed a ¾ arm slot, uphill shoulder tilt, quick arm action, in-line stride, and a forceful back leg push off. Fastball was firm with armside run and sat from 88-90 mph; backed by a hard biting slider that was thrown for strikes at 75-77 mph, and the occasional hard changeup at 81-83 mph. A quality showing for the uncommitted DuSell, Illinois’ No. 92 overall ranked prospect. Also a left-handed hitter, DuSell swings a heavy barrel with easy bat-speed, showing the ability to control the zone and drive the ball to all parts of the field with authority. 

INF Kevin Schultz (Marmion Academy, 2025)
Schultz would act as an offensive catalyst throughout the weekend at the top of the AHQ order. At the plate, the right-handed hitter presents a balanced base with a simple line-drive approach. Schultz's feel for the barrel is something to follow with his profile. Athletic 5-foot-9, 167-pound frame with room for added strength.

AHQ-Fivelson

3B Jack Perrone (Hampshire, 2025)
Lean, 6-foot, 160-pound frame, had a productive day out of the two spot in the order during AHQ-Fivelson’s 6-4 win Saturday night. The right-handed bat went 2-for-3 with a pull-side gap double and single up the middle, both of which set the table for big innings. Displayed a flat bat path, connected arms, short leg kick, and balanced lower half. Profiles as a top of the order bat with room for further development. 

OF Ari Fivelson (Hampshire, 2025)
Fivelson burst onto the scene this past weekend and immediately cemented himself as a name to follow in the rising senior class with a quality LHH/CF profile that showed quality actions on both sides of the ball. At the plate, Fivelson would routinely find himself in good positions to hit thanks to a mature approach with controlled intentionality. Defensively, the centerfielder showed athletic and smooth instincts that played up throughout the weekend. 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame.

Cangelosi Sparks 2025 Jones 

RHP Trevor Fenters (Valparaiso, 2025)
Uncommitted. Long-levered 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame, had a quality showing on the bump displaying command of a four pitch mix. Fenters tossed six innings, only allowing two runs and earning seven strikeouts. He showcased a strong feel for all of his pitches, especially his fastball which ranged 86-89 mph with arm side run. He spun his 11/5 curveball at 68-70 mph, his sweeper-like slider at 71-74 mph, and his changeup at 72-75 mph. The uncommitted right-hander is one the top arm’s in Indiana at No. 15 in the state. 

RHP Dominik Alberico - side arm kid 
An athletic 5-foot-9, 145-pound frame, Alberico gave a good look on the mound Saturday afternoon. The right-handed pitchers showed good actions with a fluid delivery followed by a loose arm from the side arm slot. His fastball was sitting 76-78 mph and the sweeper was sitting 65-70 mph. The fastball had glove-side run to it and paired well the a sweeper that was used in the lower half of the zone. Alberico was able to work effectively getting ahead early and grabbing quick outs.

CANGELOSI SPARKS BLACK

RHP Cody Freitas (Bradley-Bourbonnais, 2025)
Arizona commit. Freitas showed well in his start on Thursday afternoon. He showed a controlled, athletic delivery with a long and loose arm with acceleration out front. His fastball sat 88-90 mph, and topped out at 91 mph, showing life through the zone. He also mixed in a slider at 78-80 mph with sharp horizontal actions and a change-up in the low-80s with slight fade. He attacked the zone with his three-pitch mix throughout his outing, showing confidence in each pitch, too. In addition, Cody Freitas was slugging the ball for Sparks. The right-handed batter impressively went 3-for-3 with five RBI’s, a solo homer, and a grand slam. At the plate, Freitas stands tall with loose hands. He shows a high leg kick and quick bat as he drives through the ball keeping the bat close to his body. 

C Enzo Infelise (Providence Catholic, 2025)
Oklahoma commit. Infelise continues to impress in front of our staff at the plate, showing minimal swing-and-miss from the right-side, and consistently producing well-hit line drives to all fields. He finished the day with two hits, one being a line drive to the left-field fence for a double. 

UTIL Lucas Rink (Wilmington, 2025)
6-foot-1, 185-pounds. The left-handed hitter is an uncommitted bat to know in the state with some defensive versatility, seeing time both behind the plate and at third. Hit a home run on Thursday and followed up with a well-hit ball to deep left field for a fly out; loose, explosive hands work flat through the zone with easy jump off the barrel, especially to his pull-side. Rink is coming off an impressive spring campaign where he hit .400 with three home runs. 

LHP Joe Olson (St. Laurence, 2025)
Imposing, 6-foot-1, 210-pound frame, was in control on the mound during the Sparks’ 11-1 win Saturday night. The left-hander went four innings of one run ball, striking out six swinging and walking one en route to a dominant outing and win. He was a fluid mover that competed in the strike zone and worked from the first base side of the rubber. Executed a three pitch mix from the windup and stretch on a consistent basis. Displayed feel for tunneling his breaking ball and fastball from his ¾ arm slot, hiding the ball well behind his back hip. Also demonstrated a long arm swing, high leg kick, whippy arm action, well timed shoulder-hip separation, and a slight first base side stride. Fastball showed carry and sat from 87-90 mph. Curveball was a swing and miss putaway pitch at 75-79 mph. Changeup was thrown on occasion versus righties at 80-82 mph. An impressive performance from the Louisville commit, Illinois’ No. 12 overall ranked prospect.

OF Filippo Baratta (Lincoln-Way Central, 2025)
Lean, 5-foot-10, 157-pound frame, collected a pair of barrels against heavy velocity in the Sparks’ 11-1 win Saturday night. The right-handed bat went 2-for-2 with a walk and two opposite field two RBI doubles, including the game-ending swing in the fourth inning. Demonstrated a steady opposite field approach and the ability to hit pitches where they’re pitched. Presented a stable base, quick hands, efficient load, and flat bat path. A quality set of at-bats from the uncommitted Baratta, Illinois’ No. 141 overall ranked prospect.

OF Wyatt Wawro (Downers Grove South, 2025) 
Possessing a proportionate and athletic 5-foot-9, 160-pound display with room for added strength, Wawro helped Sparks defeat GRB Stiks 10-0. Wawro went 2-for-3 on the day, scoring two runs. The left-handed batter can spread the field as he hit a line drive to left and right. He is tall and loose at the plate with a narrow stance. He has a toe tap stride and drives through the ball with a level swing. Wawro is quick and athletic out of the box. He also went 3-for-3 during the Sparks’ Saturday night 11-1 win. Continued to show his above average bat to ball skills versus heavy left-handed velocity, taking a middle in pitch to the left center gap for a triple. 

SS Jack Wheeler  (Morris Community, 2025)
Possessing a lanky 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame with room for added strength, Wheeler was impressive for the Sparks. The right-handed batter had two RBI’s on the day hitting a deep double to center field. Wheeler has a simple slight lifting swing with an easy stride driving through the ball. In the field, Wheeler is agile for his size and has a smooth throw to first base. He also showed well on the mound later in the weekend with a fastball that topped at 89 mph and sat 85-88 mph. His sharp curveball complemented his fastball thrown at 76-78 mph, also showing an 80-81 mph changeup that had hitters off balance. 

RHP Luke Mensik  (Lincoln-Way Central, 2025)
Displaying an athletic and proportionate 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame, Mensik was shoving for Sparks. The righty came in to relief in the middle of the third inning and pitched 2.2 innings striking out four batters and not allowing any walks. Mensik has a long stride fully extending over his left leg. He short arms his delivery and throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a tight window. Mensik throws an 87-90 mph fastball with natural cut. He complements his fastball with a 76-79 mph slider that has an impressive 2400-2600 rpm spin to it. 

RHP Kasten Goebbert  (Providence Catholic, 2025)
Portraying a long and athletic 6-foot-4, 180-pound display with room for added strength, Goebbert was dominant on the mound for the Sparks. The righty threw four perfect innings not allowing a hit or a walk while striking out six. On the mound, Goebbert is relaxed, fully extending his left leg on his stride stepping toward the right-handed batter’s box while throwing out of a high 3/4 arm slot. He throws an 84-87 mph fastball with 2200-2300 rpm. His fastball is complemented by a sharp 12-6 curveball thrown at 69-73 mph that hitters could not touch.

CANGELOSI SPARKS NORTH - BLACK

LHP Henry Johnson (Glenbard West, 2025)
It was an upside look at the 6-foot-6, 200-pound uncommitted prospect. Johnson showed a clean and loose arm action with a long, clean arm path to pair. He relied heavily on his fastball that sat mostly 80-83 mph, topping out at 85 mph with some arm-side run. He turned to a slider with 2/8 shape that sat in the low-70s. Johnson is an follow uncommitted arm in Illinois’ 2025 class.

C Joey Gainer (St. Francis, 2025)
Athletic 5-foot-9, 181-pound frame, contributed on both sides of the ball during Sparks North-Black’s 8-0 win Friday morning. The right-handed bat went 2-for-3 with a pair of loud extra base hits, including a pull-side gap double in the second inning and pull-side gap bases clearing three RBI triple in the fourth inning, extending his team’s lead to 5-0. Utilized an open stance, small leg kick, minimal load, quick and direct hands, connected arms, and forceful hip drive; limiting excess movements with the upper body. Defensively, he back picked a runner from his knees after a leadoff hit in the fifth. Also, displayed a traditional squatted stance, tight one knee down stance, and a kickstand one knee down stance with adequate low pitch timing. An impressive showing for the uncommitted Gainer, Illinois’ No. 124 overall rated prospect. 

3B/RHP Tadgh Callaghan (Brother Rice, 2025)
5-foot-11, 200-pound frame, dominated on the mound during Sparks North-Black’s 8-0 win Friday morning. The right-hander went an efficient five innings and struck out three, all swinging, while giving up no runs and one hit. Displayed feel for a four pitch mix, consistently creating uncomfortable swings and at-bats. Presented a ¾ arm slot, deep back leg sink, explosive push off, in-line stride, uphill tilt, and a repeatable motion from the windup and stretch. Fastball had life and sat from 82-84 mph. 2/8 curveball was spun effectively at 72-74 mph. Slider was tight and used as a putaway pitch at 76-77 mph. Changeup showed arm-side run and dive at 73-75 mph. A quality outing from the uncommitted Callaghan, Illinois No. 175 overall ranked prospect. 

CF Chase Peterson (Glenbrook North, 2025)
Possessing a strong and muscular 5-foot-8, 179-pound frame, Peterson put on a show at the plate for Sparks North. The right-handed batter didn’t commit a single out at the plate going 4-for-4 with a triple and a double. Peterson can spread the field hitting to the left and right side. Peterson stands tall at the plate with a narrow stance and low hands. He displays a double tap stride and a smooth swing with slight lift connecting the barrel to the ball. 

RHP Tucker King  (Lyons Township, 2025)
Possessing a strong and long 6-foot-4, 207-pound frame, King threw a gem on the mound for Cangelosi Sparks North. The righty threw five innings while giving up three runs. On the mound, he works quick with a fast tempo. He has simple mechanics throwing out of a lower 3/4 arm slot with a long stride. King’s fastball touched 90 mph and sat 86-89 mph. His slider was thrown 76-78 mph and his 82-84 mph changeup had hitters off balance. 

C Zach Bava (Naperville North, 2025)
Displaying a strong and athletic 5-foot-8, 175-pound frame, Zach Bava was impressive at the plate and behind the plate. Bava reached every time he was up going 2-for-2 with two doubles, an RBI, and a walk. He has a low and wide crouching power stance at the plate with a small leg kick. He has an easy swing barreling the ball with his natural power. Bava is extremely athletic behind the plate and portrays a quick throw to the bases. 

LHP Anthony Karbowski (Hampshire, 2025)
Louisville commit. Karbowski comes in at a well proportioned 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame and showcased a strong feel for spin in Sunday’s 11-4 victory. He spun his fastball up to 2500 rpm, and sat 86-89 mph. He displayed a high spin rate on his slider topping out in the low-2900s, sitting 76-78 mph. He also threw an above average changeup at 75-76 mph. The left-hander possessed a controlled delivery with a loose ¾ arm slot that demonstrated repeatability. An overall impressive outing on the mound for the Louisville commit, and No. 50 player in the state of Illinois.

1B Davis Collie (Sycamore, 2025)
Bradley commit. Collie stands in a physical 6-foot-2, 204-pound frame with athleticism and strength throughout. A left-handed hitter, Collie was on the barrel throughout the game, delivering a single up the middle in his first at-bat and a double to the left-center gap in his third, driving in two runs in the process. He continued to carry his hitting pace into Sunday, sending a three run home run to help lift Sparks North to an 11-4 victory. He also showed well defensively, proving to be a steady glove with clean footwork. 

OF Luke McClure (Champaign Central, 2025)
Wright State commit. McClure is an athletic prospect with plenty of projection still to come in his 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame. His speed stands out, as he recorded a sub-4.0 run time down the line on a bunt, and later reached first in 4.25 seconds on a single up the middle. The left-handed hitter showed a direct and flat path through the zone, tallying one hit in the game.

MIF Noah Fitzgerald (Lyons Township, 2025)
Uncommitted. Fitzgerald comes in at a compact 5-foot-10, 170 pounds. The right-handed hitter had a productive day at the plate in Sunday’s bracket play game, hitting a two run home run to deep left field, scoring twice. Mechanically presented an open stance with a toe tape finish and a bat path that presented loft. He also displayed strong athleticism in the middle infield throughout the weekend, ranging to make several difficult plays and showing clean hands.

Cangelosi Sparks North-White

RHP/3B Owen Walsh (St. Ignatius, 2025)
Physical, 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame, overpowered on the mound during Sparks North-White’s Friday morning pool-play game. The right-hander twirled a six and one-third inning start while striking out seven, four swinging and three looking, and surrendering only one earned run and two walks. When he wasn’t striking out hitters, he consistently produced weak contact and created uncomfortable at-bats using a three pitch mix. Showed a ¾ arm slot, fluid and repeatable delivery, easy arm speed, snappy arm action, forceful lower body push off, and an upright follow through. Fastball was firm and sat from 84-86 mph. Changeup presented armside fade, sitting from 79-81 mph. Slider was tight, willingly thrown for front door strikes versus righties, and sat from 75-77 mph. An all around sound performance from the uncommitted Walsh.

RHP Gavin O’Neil (Lake Park, 2025) 
A projectable 6-foot-3, 175-pound athletic frame, O’Neil impressed in his start Saturday morning against the Louisville Legends. The right-handed pitcher tossed five innings attacking hitters early in counts with a three-pitch mix. His fastball was sitting 84-86 mph with glove side run, the curveball was sitting 74-7 6mph, and the change-up was sitting 79-80 mph. The righty had a fluid, repeatable motion followed by clean and quick arm action. O’Neil was able to get a head in counts and work from there collecting easy outs.

Cangelosi Sparks White  

RHP Jayden Spann (Thornton Fractional South, 2025)
Wiry, 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame, closed out the game for Sparks White in their 5-4 win Friday afternoon. The right-hander threw a scoreless two innings in relief, escaping a bases loaded and nobody out jam in the sixth to preserve and eventually hold the lead. Demonstrated a loose delivery, ¾ arm slot, whippy arm action, and easy arm speed. Fastball was firm and sat from 82-84 mph, topping at 85 mph. His 2/8 curveball presented variance and was thrown with different speeds depending on count, sitting from 74-77 mph. An impressive performance from the uncommitted Spann.

3B Bryce Flood  (Lockport Township East, 2025)
Possessing a smaller athletic 5-foot-10, 145-pound frame, Flood did not disappoint for the Sparks. The lead-off batter reached first base every time he was up to bat walking four times. He is a very patient batter, going deep into the count every time he was up. He stands tall and is loose in the box with a level swing. Flood was impressive in the field in addition to his perfect on base percentage. He covered a lot of ground at third base and even made an insane over-the-head basket catch early on in the game.

Eau Claire A’s Blue

2B Owen Welch (Menomonie, 2025)
Lean, 5-foot-9, 145-pound frame, produced several barrels during both of Eau Claire’s pool-play games Friday. The speedy right-handed bat went 3-for-6 on the day with a pull-side two RBI single and pull-side gap RBI triple in game one, and a pull-side gap triple in game two. Displayed a twitchy swing, quick hands, and above average bat to ball skills. An overall productive day at the plate for the uncommitted Welch. 

RHP/SS Ben Mettler (Eau Claire North, 2025)
Wiry, 6-foot-3, 160-pound frame, escaped a bases loaded and nobody out jam in the third inning en route to the Eau Claire A’s 3-2 win Friday night. The right-hander threw five innings of one run ball, while striking out three looking over the course of the outing. Showcased a ¾ arm slot, fast and twitchy delivery, upright finish, and loose arm action. Fastball sat from 80-82 mph, backed by a hard biting 2/8 curveball that was thrown for strikes at 66-69 mph. A strong performance from the uncommitted Mettler with room for further development. 

Encompass Expos Scout 

2B/RHP Tanner Ross (Proctor, 2025)
5-foot-8, 160-pound frame, was in control on the mound during the Expos’ 8-0 win Saturday morning. The right-hander went six scoreless innings while striking out five, three swinging and two looking, and surrendering only two hits. Showcased a three pitch mix, ¾ arm slot, third base side stride, and loose delivery. Fastball was consistently thrown for strikes and sat from 77-79 mph; backed by a tight slider thrown for strikes early in counts at 68-70 mph and the occasional changeup at 70-72 mph. An overall sound outing from Ross.

LHP Owen Marsolek (Duluth Marshall, 2025)
Western Kentucky commit. Currently ranked No. 8 in Minnesota; No. 458 nationally, Marsolek showed polish in his start on Friday night. A well-proportioned 6-foot-1, 179-pounds, Marsolek had evident feel for three pitches and was able to keep a stout lineup at bay throughout his outing. His fastball sat 85-87 mph (T88) with carry through the zone. His secondary offerings were highlighted by a 74-77 mph changeup that he had above-average feel for and was a constant out-pitch. Marsolek would also show a breaking ball at 71-72 mph that he could land for strikes. 

RHP Gannon Reidinger (Montevideo Senior High, 2025)
Uncommitted. Currently listed at 6-foot-5, 190-pounds, the right handed pitcher had a dominant start for the Expos Thursday afternoon. Commanding with a 73-percent strike rate, punched out 10 batters over five innings and gave up just two hits. His fastball was used heavily in the outing, sitting 83-85 mph throughout the entire five innings and touched 86 mph.

Extreme Elite National

RHP Sawyer Brunson (Triad, 2025)
Uncommitted. Listed at 5-foot-7, 150-pounds, the right-handed pitcher started the opening tournament game for his team. Brunson went five scoreless innings and punched out 10 with three hits allowed and just one walk. A confident pitcher having a 65-percent strike rate and threw any pitch in any count or situation. The fastball topped out at 85 mph and sat 82-84 mph throughout the five innings. The main secondary pitch was a slider sitting 71-73 mph. The third pitch was a changeup thrown in the upper 70s. 

LHP Hayden Bernreuter (Triad, 2025)
Uncommitted. No. 102 ranked player in the state of Illinois known for his bat, came in to pitch for an inning on Thursday. Struck out two, gave up three hits and allowed one run to come across. In his one inning of work, Bernreuter displayed a 85-87 mph fastball and topped out at 88 mph. The fastball played clean and easy from the hand. 

RHP Tommy Kramkowski (Belleville East, 2025)
Missouri State commit. Standing in at a long 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, the No. 7 right-handed pitcher in the state of Illinois displayed a high feel for spin in his start on Sunday. Kramkowski tossed a strong 6.2 innings, securing weak contact with his three pitch mix. His fastball was 84-87 with a top spin rate of 2300 rpm. He showed strong command of his slider at 73-75 with a top spin rate at 2451 rpm and changeup at 75-77 mph. 

RHP Drew Winslow (Triad, 2025)
Oklahoma State commit. Winslow is an intriguing 6-foot-6, 195 pounds with plenty of room to fill out. The right hander went four innings in the win against GRB Stiks white with four punch outs and no runs allowed. The fastball sat in the upper 80s topping out at 89 mph and was paired with a slider in the mid 70s. Mechanically, he throws from a lower slot and has a fluid delivery down the mound.

GRB Rays 17U Green

RHP Noah Filer (Wayzata, 2025; Purdue commit)
Long, loose righty with exceptional feel to spin. The Minnesota native sat 85-87 mph from a slight crossbody delivery. His slider was one of the better breaking pitches of the weekend, a sweeper at 75-76 mph and 2200-2300 rpm. He showed an above-average curveball at 71-72 mph with distinct movement from the slider. His fourth pitch was a changeup he used sparingly at 78 mph. The command was there - he walked just one in his seven-inning, complete-game shutout.

RHP Casey Wambach (Sun Prairie West, 2025)
Wambach would have a solid day on the mound this past Friday, throwing three quality innings of baseball, allowing only one hit and zero runs. The right-handed pitcher would show a quality two-pitch mix that included an 84-87 mph fastball and mid-70s curveball. Strong 6-foot-1, 191-pound frame with there still being more in the tank. Uncommitted name to follow in the rising senior class. 

OF Braylen White (Brown Deer, 2025)
White showed an intriguing profile this past weekend, highlighted by an athletic 5-foot-11, 157-pound frame with premier speed that has produced 60 times as low as 6.54 sec in past events. The rising senior would show advanced baserunning instincts and premier range in CF that played up throughout the weekend. At the plate, the right-handed hitter presents an athletic setup with a simple stride and a clear contact-based approach. Uncommitted name to know in Wisconsin's Class of 2025. 

LHP Trevor Bourette (Portage, 2025)
Bourette showed a quality profile on the mound this past weekend with a solid three-pitch mix. The left-handed pitcher's fastball would sit in the 82-84 mph range and was paired with a 77-80 cut-fastball variation, also flashing a mid-70s changeup with diving action. Strong 6-foot, 220-pound frame. 

1B Carter Kutz (Hartford Union, 2025)
Nebraska commit. Kutz is the No. 1 player in Wisconsin's rising senior class, and he would continue to show why this past weekend with a quality right-handed hitting profile. At the plate, the rising senior had a confident presence in the box with an athletic, slightly open setup with a simple stride and quick hands. 6-foot-2, 179-pound frame with present strength throughout. 

SS Preston Yaucher (Edgewood, 2025)
Penn State commit. The No. 7 ranked player in Wisconsin's rising senior class would continue to impress this past weekend with quality actions on both sides of the baseball. The right-handed hitter showed a quality approach at the plate, looking to generate hard line-drive contact. In setup, Yaucher presents a wider base with no stride and presents athleticism throughout the swing. 5-foot-10, 192-pound frame with present strength and athleticism. 

C Nick Bowron (Rochester, 2025)
Bowron showed a quality LHH/C profile this past weekend with confident defensive actions and a solid bat. At the plate, the rising senior had a calm presence in the box with a simple approach with controlled barrel intent. In setup, Bowron shows a wider, athletic base utilizing a simple no-stride movement to get into a position to hit. Strong 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame. A must-follow uncommitted name in the rising senior class. 

RHP Jaxon Clayton (Brookfield Central, 2025)
BYU commit. Clayton is the No. 13 ranked player in Wisconsin’s rising senior class, he went a complete game with seven punchouts and only allowing two hits in the game against Prestige 2025. On the mound Clayton has an ultra competitive presence. The right hander's fastball sat 85-87 mph paired with a 75-76 mph slider. Mechanically he has a high ¾ slot and a fluid delivery.

GRB Rays Illinois Green

RHP/3B Jackson Kees (DeKalb, 2025)
Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 145 in the state. Kees showed a ton of intrigue on the mound with a three-pitch mix. His fastball sat 85-88 mph, while his offspeed pitches stood out throughout the outing. His best pitch on this night was a sharp curveball at 77-79 mph that he could throw in any count, while also going to a 78-81 mph changeup that he could throw for strikes and to either side of the plate. As a position player, Kees would get the start at the hot corner Thursday, going 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a triple. The rising senior would show quality athletic actions on both sides of the ball. Athletic, high-waisted 6-foot-3, 160-pound frame. 

OF Ryan Dabe (Huntley, 2025)
Uncommitted, Athletic 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame, showcased a strong bat all weekend going 2-for-2 at the plate Saturday, and possessed a loud barrel Sunday crushing a stand up double in the gap. The uncommitted outfielder is currently the No. 19 ranked outfielder in the state of Illinois and seems to be an intriguing athlete to follow.

RHP/OF Wilson Wemhoff (Hampshire, 2025)
Uncommitted, strong 5-foot-10, 182-pound frame, Wemhoff showcased an intriguing two-way look this weekend. He had a 2-for-3 day at the plate Sunday, crushing a backside triple into the gap and eventually scoring the tying run later in the game. He would then take the mound in a relief appearance, tossing 4 ⅔ innings without allowing a base runner. His fastball was 84-87 mph and was placed consistently around the zone. His deceptive slider was 71-74 mph and produced multiple swing and misses and his changeup was 79-80 mph. The two way rising senior looks to be an interesting uncommitted prospect to follow.

1B/RHP AJ Putty (Huntley, 2025)
Putty would continue to show why he is one of the best players in Illinois' 2025 class, showing at the plate throughout the weekend and on the mound Thursday. At the plate, the right-handed hitter was a barrel-finding machine with a calm presence in the box and a line-drive approach. He had a strong day at the plate Sunday for GRB, sending a home run to deep center to help spark a 5-4 comeback victory. On the mound, Putty would pitch well Thursday, throwing a four-inning perfect game with seven strikeouts, allowing nobody to reach base on the day. His fastball would sit in the 83-86 mph range and was thrown with a quality 77-80 mph changeup and an upper-60s slider. Standing at 6-foot-4, 224 pounds, Putty's strength allowed him to play at a high level all weekend.

C Benjamin Mitchell (Harvest Christian, 2025)
Bellarmine commit. Standing in at a well proportioned 6-foot, 206-pound frame, Mitchell came up clutch for GRB Rays Illinois Sunday as he crushed a go-ahead two run home run to deep center field off a high-80s arm. He also showcased a strong arm behind the dish throwing out a runner and has been known to have a pop time range of 1.95-2.00 sec. A strong overall showing from the right-handed catcher.

C Jake Johnson (Central, 2025)
Johnson would show quality actions this past weekend, with a profile highlighted by an advanced 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame with strength throughout. Defensively, the backstop showed fluid actions, showing an advanced feel for the position. Offensively, the right-handed hitter presents a simple, wider setup and utilizes a toe tap to get into a position to hit. Johnson is a must-know uncommitted rising senior due to his high-level actions on both sides of the ball. 

OF Hayden Dieschbourg (Cary-Grove, 2025)
Dieschbourg showed quality actions this past weekend, highlighted by a twitchy athletic profile while standing at 5-foot-10, 180 pounds. The right-handed hitter showed rhythm while presenting an athletic open stance with a controlled approach. An uncommitted name to follow in the rising senior class.

1B Karson Stiefer (Prairie Ridge, 2025)
Stiefer showed an intriguing profile this past weekend with a projectable 6-foot-1, 168-pound frame with room for added strength throughout. At the plate, the left-handed hitter presents an upright, slightly open setup, until two strikes in which he gets in a wider setup and chokes up on the bat. A simple offensive profile with even more intriguing projectability.

GRB Rays Illinois White   

RHP/3B Adam Wrzos (Marian Central Catholic, 2025)
Lean, 6-foot, 150-pound frame, had a quality start during GRB Rays Illinois White’s Friday night pool-play game. The right-hander used a three pitch mix and tossed five innings, striking out two, walking none, and surrendering only two runs. Displayed a long arm swing, ¾ arm slot, slight third base side stride, and quick arm action. Fastball showed life in the upper quadrants of the strike zone and sat from 80-82 mph, topping at 83; backed by the slider at 70-73 mph and changeup with armside fade at 73-74 mph. An overall strong performance that kept the game close for the uncommitted Wrzos.   

SS Brock Harer (St. Viator, 2025)
Harer showed a quality left-handed swing this past weekend with a controlled approach at the plate. The rising senior presents an athletic base, utilizing a simple toe trap to get into an athletic position to hit with a slightly uphill bat path. Athletic 6-foot, 170-pound frame.

GRB Rays Illinois Yellow

RHP Brandon Shannon (McHenry, 2025)
Louisville Commit. Shannon showed a quality profile on the mound this past weekend with a quality three-pitch mix coming from a high 3/4 arm slot. On Thursday, Shannon would throw four innings of quality baseball allowing only two hits and no walks while striking out eight. The fastball would sit in the upper-80s and was thrown with a low-80s changeup and upper-70s curveball. Projectable 6-foot-3, 170-pound frame.

OF Easton Stewart (Hononegah, 2025)
Uncommitted. Stewart burst on the scene this weekend, showcasing a left-handed swing that seemed to continuously find the barrel. An offensive catalyst, Stewart has a pretty swing with an athletic base, slightly open to the pitcher and controlled load. A twitchy athletic 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, the rising senior is a must-know name in the rising senior class.

OF Jacob Duvall (Cary-Grove, 2025)
Duvall showed a quality left-handed hitting profile this past weekend with a line-drive approach and a projectable, athletic frame. At the plate, Duvall presents an upright base, sinking slightly into his legs, and utilizing a leg kick to get into a position to hit with a slightly uphill bat path. An uncommitted name to know in the rising senior class. 

LHP Carter Kelley (Crystal Lake Central, 2025)
Lean and athletic, 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame, impressed on the mound in GRB Illinois Yellow’s Friday afternoon pool-play game. The left-hander threw a quality five and one-third innings while striking out four, three swinging and one looking, and giving up three earned runs and two walks, exiting with the lead. Fast mover that worked from the extreme third base side of the rubber, keeping hitters consistently guessing with difficult to read pitch angles. Presented a ¾ arm slot, first base side stride, explosive torso rotation, deep back leg sink, and whippy arm action. Fastball played as a sinker with armside run and dive, sitting from 83-84 mph and topping at 85; backed by a looping slider at 70-74 mph that covered all quadrants of the strike zone and was thrown for back door strikes and putaway swings and misses. Changeup forced ground ball outs and was almost exclusively thrown versus righties, sitting from 74-76 mph. A quality showing from the uncommitted Kelley.   

Mason Willis, C, Antioch Community, 2025
Uncommitted. Strong 6-foot, 185-pound frame, hit cleanup in a look on Saturday. Was on the barrel twice, including launching a no-doubt home run in his final trip to the plate. Strong, leveraged right-handed swing, stays through the hitting zone on a level plane with backspin feel. 

RHP John Garipey (Crystal Lake, 2025)
Garipey would show an intriguing profile Saturday, throwing five innings of quality baseball while only allowing two hits. The right-handed pitcher offered a three-pitch mix including a low-80s fastball, mid-70s changeup, and upper-50s curveball. 6-foot, 180-pound frame with room for growth.

GRB North Green

RHP/3B Lucas Koskey (De Pere, 2025)
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 175 pounds. On Saturday, Koskey got the start for GRB North Green and impressed in a complete-game win. Koskey’s fastball topped at 84 mph and sat 80-83 mph throughout the entirety of the game. To complement the pitch, Koskey utilized his slider with heavy usage in the early stages of the game to record outs and swing-and-misses. At 71-74 mph, the right-hander spun the pitch at 2,200-2,400 rpm with some late break. The De Pere native showed a good understanding for the flow of the game as through innings six and seven he began going to his changeup at 75-76 mph to mix things up. In all, Koskey picked up the seven-inning win while striking out six and allowing just two runs. Currently ranked as the No. 160 prospect in the Badger State, Koskey is an interesting follow across the rest of the summer and into his senior year at De Pere.

1B Isaac Poehlman  (De Pere HS, 2025)
Portraying a strong 6-foot-2, 221-pound display, Poehlman was impressive in the second inning for GRB North Green. Early in the count, Poehlman connected and drove the ball over the fence to right field. Standing tall and narrow with high hands, Poehlman has a long stride and compact swing with the ability to get the barrel to the ball. It is impressive how easy and effortless his swing is as he swings with his natural strength.

CF Mason Sequin  (De Pere HS, 2025)
Possessing a lengthy 6-foot, 160-pound frame with room for added strength, Sequin collected multiple hits for GRB North Green. The right-handed batter went 2-for-3 at the plate that included a deep ground rule double to left field. Sequin has a wide and crouched stance at the plate. He has nice easy swing with slight lift and a toe tap stride, getting the barrel to the ball and quickly running out of the box down the line.  

RHP Keegan Wheeler (Bay Port, 2025)
Struck out eight across four innings. Low-slot righty who worked 84-86 mph with above-average arm-side run. His curveball had a tight rotation at 73-74 mph, also showing a changeup at 79 mph. It’s an average leg lift and low-effort delivery who should mature as he gains more innings at the perennial contender Bay Port.

GRB Rays North Yellow 

RHP Brayden Leurquin (West De Pere, 2025)
A long limbed, 5-foot-10, 173-pound loose frame, Leurquin tossed a gem against the Summit City Sluggers. The right-handed pitcher tossed a complete game shutout allowing three hits and five walks while striking out seven. Leurquin comes from a clean and fluid motion followed by a loose quick arm. His fastball was sitting 77-81 mph and the curveball was sitting 71-7 2mph. The righty had effective command of both pitches, with the curveball working well off the fastball keeping hitters off-balance. 

RHP Jack Adler (Oconto Falls, 2025)
An athletic, 6-foot-3, 182-pound frame, Adler showed well on the mound Saturday afternoon against the Sparks. The right-handed pitcher showcased a three-pitch mix including a fastball sitting 76-80 mph with late ride in the zone, a curveball sitting 67-70 mph able to generate whiffs, and a change-up sitting 73-75 mph. Adler was able to work each pitch off each other effectively keeping hitters off-balanced and guessing. He created soft-contact outs and worked out of trouble in fifth, able to limit the damage. Alder was able to be an effective worker, filling the zone and getting easy outs. 

GRB Rays Yellow

RHP Weston Poth (Lomira, 2025) 
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 190 pounds. Poth gave an intriguing look in his start on Friday night. The right-hander displayed an athletic arm action and ran his fastball up to 87 mph. Poth’s fastball sat at 83-85 mph while he sparsely mixed a breaking ball at 70-71 mph. With the athletic build and a strong lower half, Poth’s upside on the mound makes him an interesting follow in Wisconsin’s to-be senior class.

OF Levi Watts (Appleton North, 2025
Uncommitted. Athletic 5-foot-9, 168-pound frame, possessed strong tools on both sides of the ball this weekend. The right-handed hitting outfielder lined a triple into the gap Saturday, showcasing his strong acceleration on the bases as a 7.17 60 time runner. He also displayed strong abilities defensively as he showcased a strong arm from the outfield and solid range as well. The No. 10 ranked outfielder in Wisconsin looks to be an intriguing uncommitted athlete to follow.

OF Logan Young (Pardeeville, 2025) 
Uncommitted. Young swung a heavy barrel Thursday morning when he swatted a pull-side homer. Presenting a lean 6-foot, 165-pounds, He would go on to have a 3-for-3 day at the plate Saturday, with two XBHs including a ground rule double. Overall, Young showed to be an uncommitted, right-handed outfielder to continue to monitor. 

INF Oliver Soldat (Madison Memorial, 2025)
Uncommitted. Soldat had a big game Thursday morning to kick off the tournament, hitting two home runs in his first two at-bats. The first was a long, towering shot out to left field, while his second was a line drive that got out of the park in a hurry, again to left field. The right-handed hitter swings with a flat path that allows for consistent line drive contact. Defensively, he showed athletic actions and reliable hands at the shortstop position. 

RHP Ryan Buchta (Oak Creek, 2025)
Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 68 in Wisconsin. Buchta is an intriguing 6-foot-4, 203-pound right-hander to know from the weekend. He worked with a two-pitch mix; with his fastball sitting 82-84 mph with sink, while going to a 76-77 mph slider for his out-pitch. Buchta would go on to punch out four over five innings of one-run ball, managing to pitch out of trouble when needed.

GRB STIKS BLACK

RHP Greyson Zach  (Pewaukee, 2025)
Possessing a strong and full 6-foot-3, 215-pound frame, Zach was impressive on the mound for GRB Stiks. Zach stood tall on the mound and displayed a long stride while riding his back leg down the mound. He fully extends his arm during his windup and throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Zach’s fastball touched 87 mph and sat around 83-86 mph. His fastball was complemented by a slower curveball thrown at 70-73 mph. He had hitters off balance all day. 

RF Ben Kuglitsch  (Muskego, 2026)
Displaying a lengthy, 6-foot-2, 173-pound frame with room for added strength, Kuglitsch was impressive at the plate for GRB Stiks. The right-handed batter didn’t commit a single out going 4-for-4 with three RBI’s spreading the field to both foul lines, including a line drive double to right field. Kuglitsch shows a high leg kick with his hands close to his body quickly turning on the ball. In addition to his hitting, he covers ground in right field and has an above-average arm. 

RHP Rocco Conrad (New Berlin West, 2025)
A built, 6-foot-3, 239-pound frame, Conrad is one of the top uncommitted arms in Wisconsin and showed well Thursday morning. The right-hander was fastball-heavy sitting 86-89 mph, topping out at 90 mph. He also flashed a splitter around 78-79 mph. Conrad’s delivery is simple and repeatable, followed by quick arm action from the ¾ slot. Throughout his outing, he relied heavily on his fastball, able to pound the zone and generate whiffs and soft contact. As the summer turns over Conrad is an uncommitted name to be known in Wisconsin.

GRB STIKS GREY

OF/LHP Emmet Kelchen (Kettle Moraine, 2025)
Kelchen showcased a unique profile this past weekend, highlighted by an athletic 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter stands tall at the plate before launching into a position to hit via a simple leg kick. On the mound, the left-handed pitcher showed unique actions with varying attack angles. From a high 3/4s arm slot Kelchen offered a 75-77 mph fastball that was paired with a low-70s changeup and a curveball that sat in the 66-67 mph range. Almost acting as a second offspeed, Kelchen would drop down to a submarine attack angle with a low-70s offering that kept hitters guessing.

GRB Stiks Teal  

RHP Sean Beug-Hoffman (Brookfield Central, 2025)
Lean, 6-foot-4, 215-pound frame, threw an efficient couple of innings of relief during GRB Stiks Teal’s 1-0 win Friday morning. The right-hander went four and two-thirds scoreless with one walk, regularly producing quick at-bats with soft contact. Utilizing a pitch to contact approach and attack mentality, he collected all of his outs from batted balls, most of which were ground balls. Showcased a four pitch mix, ¾ arm slot, long arm swing, upright finish, and slight third base side stride. Fastball set up the offspeed at 80-82 mph; backed by a 2/8 curveball at 71-73 mph, slider at 70-72 mph, and the occasional changeup at 74-75 mph. An impressive short notice performance from the uncommitted Beug-Hoffman, Wisconsin’s No. 85 overall ranked prospect.

Hitters 2025

RHP Ethan Bauerschmidt (Tremper, 2025)
Penn State commit. Standing in at a long-levered 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame, Bauerschmidt tossed a six inning complete game shutout Sunday, securing 10 strikeouts. He displayed a high feel for spin with his three pitch mix. His fastball ranged from 87-90 mph and had a max spin rate at 2436 rpm. He spun his slider at 77-79 with a sharp break and a max spin rate at 2758 rpm. He also threw an above average changeup at 81-84 mph that had arm side movement. Bauerschmidt had an up-tempo, repeatable delivery finishing in line with the rubber and throwing from a loose ¾ arm slot. Overall, the No. 1 right-handed pitcher in the state of Wisconsin had an outstanding day on the mound.

INF Ryne Dzierzynski (Grant Community, 2025)
Uncommitted. The athletic 5-foot-10, 173-pound infielder had a strong showing at the plate in Sunday’s bracket play game. Dzierzynski went 2-for-3 at the plate with a two run triple to right center. The right-handed utility infielder also displayed clean hands in the infield, getting rid of the ball quick and showcased a strong arm as well. On the mound, Dzierzynski would show a quality two-pitch mix with an 82-83 mph fastball paired with a 69-72 mph slurvy breaking ball. The No. 20 ranked outfielder in the state of Illinois had an impressive day and appears to be an uncommitted name to follow. 

SS Ethan Moore (Oak Park-River Forest, 2025)
Louisville commit, This past weekend, Moore continued to show why he is one of the best players in Illinois' rising senior class, showing a consistent barrel that was paired with a confident presence in the box. The switch-hitter showed quality bat speed throughout the weekend which allowed his bat to continuously play up. Advanced actions on the infield with natural actions and instincts. Soft/quick hands with athletic actions, moves well to both sides of his glove. Athletic 5-foot-10, 193-pound frame with present strength throughout. 

2B Jack Zeller (Indian Trail, 2025)
Zeller would show a quality left-handed bat throughout this past weekend, continuing to cement himself as one of the more intriguing uncommitted names in the rising senior class. In setup, Zeller stands upright with his hands high before utilizing a high leg kick to launch into an athletic position to hit. Athletic 6-foot-1, 182-pound frame with room for added strength. 

RHP Brody Schulte (Westosha Central, 2025)
Schulte would have a quality day on the mound Friday, throwing 5.1 innings while only allowing one earned run. The right-handed pitcher showed a quality three-pitch mix, which included an 83-86 mph fastball, an upper-70s changeup with depth, and a slider that sat in the 73-74 mph range. Schulte was an easy mover on the mound and offers plenty of intrigue via projectable 6-foot-5, 176-pound frame.

HITTERS UDC 2025s

RHP Adam Gerl (Lincoln-Way West, 2025)
Gerl is an athletic mover with control down the mound, using a loose arm out of a ¾ slot to produce low-80s fastball throughout. He also mixed in a slider with 10/4 shape, sitting in the low-70s, showing the ability to throw the pitch in and around the zone to produce swing-and-miss. He impressed with his ability to attack the zone for strikes with both pitches.

SS Seth Pitcock (Boone Grove, 2025) 
Valparaiso commit, Pitcock gave an impressive look in Thursday’s morning slot. He’s a quality defender with confident actions, fluid footwork, soft hands and a strong arm across the diamond. At the plate, he’s a right-handed hitter that displayed some fluidity in his swing with a slightly uphill bat path. Pitcock also showed well in a relief appearance Thursday morning. The right-handed thrower tossed one and two-thirds innings striking out five and allowing zero runs, walks, and hits. He flashed a two-mix mix with the fastball sitting 85-87 mph that rides late in the zone and a curveball with a hard late break sitting 75-76 mph. Pitcock is athletic and loose on the mound with clean and quick arm action. 

RHP Brady Backes  (Lasalle-Peru, 2025)
Possessing a strong and long 6-foot-3, 194-pound display, Backes was lights out on the mound for Hitters. Backes threw 6.2 innings not giving up an earned run and only one hit while striking out five. On the mound, Backes displays a smaller leg kick and long stride with full extension. He short arms the ball on his delivery and throws out of a 3/4 arm slot. HIs fastball was thrown 83-86 mph the whole game topping 87 mph. His fastball was complemented with a 71-73 mph curveball and a diving 80-81 mph changeup. 

RHP Tyler Bartley (Lincoln-Way East, 2025) 
A long 5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic frame, Bartley showed well in his start against the Landsharks gold Friday night. The right-handed hitter tossed five innings allowing one run, five hits, and four walks while striking out five. He tossed from a fluid reputable motion with a ¾ arm slot. He dealt with a two-pitch mix including a fastball sitting 81-83 mph with late ride and a 70-72 mph curveball able to keep hitters guessing. Bartley was a quick worker and able to command both pitches filling up the zone. 

Collin Senkpill (Lincoln-Way Central, 2024)
South Suburban JC commit. The No. 174 ranked player in Illinois' 2024 class, Senkpill showed quality actions throughout the weekend. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a relaxed presence in the box with a balanced base and simple stride. 6-foot-1, 176-pound frame with present strength throughout. 

OF Justin Vander Tuuk (Lockport, 2025)
Vander Tuuk showed a quality profile this past weekend with solid actions on both sides of the ball. Defensively, the outfielder showed quality defensive instincts and an above-average arm from the outfield. At the plate, the left-handed hitter presents a wider athletic base with a simple stride. Athletic 6-foot-4, 187-pound frame with room for added strength.

Illinois Braves

RHP Patrick Kennedy (Champaign Central, 2025)
Uncommitted. Standing 6-foot-1, 185-pounds, the right-handed pitcher took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before surrendering his first hit. Kennedy’s final line went 6.1 innings, three hits allowed, three walks, one earned run and six strikeouts. Throughout the outing, Kennedy used a four seam fastball to get strike one, sitting 78-81 mph over the course if his outing. The main secondary pitch was a slider that was thrown later in counts, coming in at 69-71 mph. A changeup was shown at times and sat 75-76 mph.

Illinois lightning

RHP Cameron Bates
A strong 6-foot-1, 190-pound athletic frame, Bates is a two-sport star having already received three D1 football scholarship offers. Now on the baseball field, Bates gave an extremely interesting look through three innings in his start Friday afternoon. The right-handed pitcher mixed three pitches including a fastball sitting 85-88 mph with lots of ride, a curveball sitting 78-79 mph, and a change-up sitting 80-82 mph. He is a quick worker with a fast and fluid motion that is followed by a loose whippy arm. He got into some trouble but was able to work out it limiting the damage as best as possible. Bates will be an interesting name to follow in the 2025 class had the year moves along.

Impact Sports Academy Black

OF Christian Collins (Notre Dame Academy, 2025)
Collins is a name we saw earlier in the summer, and he continued to show quality actions throughout the weekend with a LHH/CF profile. At the plate, the left-handed hitter presents an athletic setup with twitchy movements throughout, utilizing a leg kick to get into a position to hit. Compact 5-foot-9, 196-pound frame with strength throughout. 

3B Zachary Grossman (Evangel Christian, 2025)
Grossman would continue to show a quality profile this past weekend that is highlighted by an athletic 6-foot, 189-pound frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter stands straight, slightly open to the pitcher, before launching into an athletic position to hit through a simple stride. Twitchy movements throughout.

RHP Gavin Trevillian (Kingsford, 2025) 
An athletic, 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame, Trevillian threw a gem against Rhino Baseball Friday afternoon. The right-handed pitcher tossed six scoreless innings allowing five hits and one walk while striking out seven. Throwing from a repeatable smooth delivery followed by clean and loose arm action from the ¾ slot. Trevillian showcased a two-pitch mix which included a fastball sitting 81-84 mph and a curveball sitting 68-72 mph with good spin and late-breaking action. The righty was relying heavily on his curveball using it in any count and consistently landing it for strikes. He was able to pair both pitches well, generating soft contacts and whiffs.

JBA Clutch

RHP Ethan Dillingham (Lincoln, 2026)
Wiry, 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame, threw a quality three inning start in JBA Clutch’s 12-1 win Saturday afternoon. The right-hander executed a pitch to contact approach, striking out two and producing weak contact throughout the outing. Showed an advanced feel for a three pitch mix, regularly changing pitch sequencing to keep hitters off balance. Used an over the top arm slot, front side tuck, slight third base side stride, and quick arm action. Fastball was consistently thrown for strikes early in counts and sat from 77-79 mph; backed by a 12/6 curveball at 67-69 mph and armside fade changeup at 70-71 mph. He also added a single and RBI walk at the plate. Profiles as a starter with projectable stuff. 

OF Logan Zickert (Pittsville, 2025)
Zickert showed an intriguing profile this past weekend, highlighted by a projectable frame with room for added strength throughout. The left-handed hitter presents an athletic base with a small leg kick that he utilizes to get into a position to hit with a slightly uphill bat path. 

DH/RHP Taylor Lemanski (Mosinee, 2024)
Wisconsin-LaCrosse commit. The No. 179th ranked player in Wisconsin's 2024 class showed quality actions this past weekend. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed twitchy actions throughout his swing with an upright setup and a simple leg kick. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher showed a quality three-pitch mix with an upper-70s fastball that topped out at 80 mph and was grouped with a low-70s changeup and a 65-67 mph range curveball. 

1B Brady Lokken  (Mosinee, 2025)
Displaying a strong 6-foot-1, 225-pound frame, Brady Lokken was impressive at the plate for JBA. The right-handed batter went 2-for-3 with an RBI. He spread the field by hitting a single to the right side and one to the left side. Lokken has a wide and crouched power stance with high hands. He has a long stride and keeps his bat close to his body throughout the entire swing while seeing the ball all the way through.

Landsharks 17U Gold 

RHP Brody Zielinski (Saint Joesph, 2025) 
A filled out, 6-foot, 185-pound strong frame, Zielinski had a quality start against the Hitters UDC. The right-handed pitcher tossed six innings allowing two runs, five hits, and four walks while striking out six. He showed rhythm on the mound with a repeatable fluid motion, followed by a loose and quick arm from the ¾ slot. His fastball was sitting 84-87 mph with glove side run, the curveball was sitting 73-74 mph, and the change-up was at 77 mph. The off-speed pitches are still developing consistency but were used as a good change of pace, able to keep hitters off-balance.

LITH Elite 

RHP Bryson Elbrecht (McHenry, 2025)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 182 in the state. Elbrecht turned in a strong start Friday morning, where he turned in a final line of: W, CG, 7 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 H, 3 BB, 11 K. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-hander worked primarily with a fastball/slider mix that was effective from start-to-finish. His fastball sat 81-84 mph (T85) with occasional arm-side run, playing in each quadrant of the zone. His slider was sharp at 70-71 mph with over 2500+ rpm, holding plane, and earning swings and misses. Elbrecht is an uncommitted arm to continue to follow in Illinois.

INF Ethan Doonan (Hampshire, 2025)
Uncommitted. Doonan was all over the barrel on Friday morning, collecting two hits for LITH Elite. Standing in at 5-foot-11, 180-pounds, he showed an aggressive approach from the left side, with a level path that looks to keep the ball on a line. He also showed natural and comfortable actions at first base.

SS Jack Geers (Harrison, 2025)
Geers showed a quality profile out of the leadoff spot this past weekend, acting as an offensive catalyst for his Louisville Legends squad. At the plate, the right-handed hitter sets with an athletic base, utilizing a simple stride to get into a position to hit with a slightly uphill bat path. Athletic 6-foot-1, 160-pound frame with room for added strength. 

RHP Matthew Harris (Saint Xavier, 2025)
Harris would show a quality profile on the mound this past weekend with an intriguing three-pitch mix. The rising senior's fastball sat in the low 80s and was thrown alongside a 69-70 mph breaking ball and 75-76 mph changeup. Harris offered deceptive looks on the mound with actions that he repeated well. Athletic 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame with room for added strength. 

1B Carter Walters (Spencer County, 2025)
Marshall commit. Walters showed an intriguing profile this past weekend with a quality left-handed swing and a muscular 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame. At the plate, the rising senior showed a controlled approach and a confident presence in the box. In setup, Walyters presents an athletic, slightly open stance with above-average bat speed and strength throughout the swing.

Louisville Legends Nationals

OF/RHP Noah Cima (Corbin, 2025)
Although not having pitched much in the past, Cima warrants a look on the mound with a fastball that touched 90 mph on Friday. With long levers in a 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame, the former Future Gamer provided an intriguing look that garnered interest. After touching 90 mph, Cima’s fastball sat at 85-87 mph and was complimented with a breaking ball 76-80 mph. With late break and noticeable vertical movement, Cima’s breaking ball caught numerous swing-and-misses and was an effective pitch that earned outs.  

LHP Nicholas Ballard (DuPont, 2025)
Louisville commit. A 6-foot, 180-pound athletic mover on the mound with strong command of his three pitch mix. Ballard tossed a four inning complete game shutout, earning five strikeouts. He showcased arm side run on his fastball sitting 83-86 mph the whole game. He complimented his fastball with a sharp slider at 72-75 mph and a deceptive changeup at 74-76 mph which both fooled hitters. Overall, an impressive outing from the No. 2 left handed pitcher in the state of Kentucky.

INF Cooper Vowels (Henderson County, 2025)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 90 in Kentucky’s 2025 class, Vowels showed intrigue with the bat on Friday. A strong and sturdy 6-foot, 195-pounds, he swung a loud barrel from the right side of the plate, nearly leaving the yard late in the game. Vowels was also reliable in the field and will be a name to continue to monitor. 

RHP Jackson Supsky (Trinity, 2025)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 159 in Kentucky’s class, we got a brief look at the right-hander Friday afternoon. He stands in at an athletic 5-foot-9, 175-pounds and showed the feel to spin throughout his two-pitch mix. His fastball sat 83-84 mph (T85) with over 2300 rpm on average, while then turning to a 70-73 mph slider (2400+ rpm) when needed as an out-pitch. Supsky would go on to punch out two batters over his inning and two-thirds of work. 

RHP Adrian Smith (Lakota West, 2025)
Uncommitted. A 5-foot-9, 185-pounds right-handed pitcher struck out seven over his 5.2 innings and surrendered one earned run on five hits on Thursday afternoon. Smith worked quickly on the mound, controlling the pace of the game. Attacking hitter with a lot of first-pitch fastball, thrown with effort, sat 85-88 mph over the innings on the mound. Working off the fastball was a curveball that created swing and misses, playing at 71-73 mph.

Midwest Halos Scout

MIF Dean Staudacher (Muskego, 2025)
Strong, 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame, had a clutch day at the plate in the Halos’ 8-6 win Friday afternoon. The right-handed bat demonstrated a gap to gap approach going 2-for-3 with a walk, pull-side single, and opposite gap game tying three RBI triple late in the game, issuing a pivotal moment in his team’s comeback victory. Showcased a compact swing, slightly closed stance, short stride, explosive lower half torque, strong wrists, direct hands, and a flat bat path. He regularly changed bat planes depending on pitch location and velocity. Defensively, showed off agility and the ability to create force behind throws from different body angles. An overall productive day for the uncommitted Staudacher, Wisconsin’s No. 24 overall ranked prospect.

Dylan Campeau, RHP, Greendale, 2025
Uncommitted. Prototypical starter’s frame at 6-foot-2, 230-pounds with strength throughout; broad, durable shoulders, thick lower half. Took the rubber in a start for the Halos on Saturday afternoon and showed some of the loudest raw stuff of the entire weekend. Athletic, up-tempo mover, ultra-easy out the hand with an effortless, in-line release when he’s on time. Arm plays short and tight on the backside, finishing out of a high ¾ slot. Ran his fastball up to 92, pitching at 87-91 mph with backspin up in the zone, working at 2400-2500+ RPM. Primary secondary in this look proved to be a 78-82 mph slider that flashed swing-and-miss tilt at 2700-2800+ RPM. Landed it for strikes on occasion, though still developing consistent feel for it. Did show a changeup at 81-83 mph to left-handed hitters. A true power arm that’s one of the top prospects still on the market in Wisconsin. 

Jimmy Walkanoff, 1B, Wilmot, 2025
Uncommitted, takes the field at a hard-to-miss 6-foot-3, 228-pound frame with physicality throughout. Started at first base and hit third for the Halos in a look on Saturday morning. Juiced one deep to center field with authority in his first at-bat, missing a home run by a few feet for a sacrifice fly. Long, leveraged right-handed swing, works uphill through the hitting zone with clear impact off the barrel. Offers middle-of-the-order upside at the next level. 

RHP, Jack Roventini, Arrowhead, 2025
Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame. Worked in relief for the Halos on Saturday afternoon. Athletic mover, gets down the mound with intent and works over his front side consistently, finishing through a firm lead leg. Arm plays free and easy on the backside, working out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 86-90 mph, clean out the hand, feel for the arm-side corner. Flashed tight spin on a 74-77 mph slider, landed it for strikes at times. One of the top uncommitted arms in the state’s senior class.

Minnesota Starters - 17U Nationals 

RHP Abu Kalokoh (Benidle-St Margaret’s, 2025) 
A strong, 6-foot, 180-pound built frame, Kalokoh gave an intriguing look during his start against ISA Black Friday afternoon. The right-handed pitcher is a high-intent quick worker who throws from a fluid motion, followed by a quick and loose arm. He was fastball-heavy with it sitting 84-87 mph, topping out at 89 mph with quality in zone movements. The righty flashed a developing slider at 75-77mph, along with a change-up at 74-75 mph. As Kalokoh continues to develop and solidify his secondary pitches he certainly will be an intriguing name to follow in the 2025 uncommitted class. 

CIF Trevor Porisch (Wayzata, 2025)
Porisch would show an intriguing profile this past weekend, highlighted by an imposing 6-foot-5, 225-pound frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter sets upright before launching into an athletic position to hit with a strong barrel. The rising senior showed a controlled approach that played up throughout the weekend. Defensively, Porisch showed at both corner infield positions with impressive athletic actions.

SS Nikhil Kandi (Prior Lake, 2025)
Kandi showed quality actions at shortstop throughout the weekend with advanced instincts and lateral quickness that allowed for his range to play up. At the plate, the right-handed hitter presents an athletic setup, looking to drive the ball with a slightly uphill bat path. Athletic 6-foot, 180-pound frame. 

OF Deandre Mayaka (Benilde-St. Margaret, 2025)
Mayaka showed an elite defensive profile in centerfield this past weekend, with advanced defensive instincts and plus range. The rising senior would also show quality baserunning instincts throughout the weekend. The No. 122 ranked player in Minnesota's rising senior class, Maker showed an intriguing profile this past weekend, highlighted by a solid right-handed swing. Maker presents an open stance before launching into an athletic position to hit with an uphill bat path. 6-foot, 180-pound frame.

SS Ryan Moran (St. Louis Park, 2025)
Moran showed an intriguing profile this past weekend with fluid defensive actions and a solid right-handed swing. At the plate, the rising senior showed a patient approach with pull-side tendencies coming from an athletic swing. Compact 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame. 

RHP/3B Logan Campbell (Lakeville North, 2025)
Campbell would show a quality two-way profile this past weekend as a LHH/3B and right-handed pitcher. On the mound, the rising senior would show a quality two-pitch mix including an upper-80s fastball and a slider that sat in the 78-81 mph range. Campbell showed confidence on the mound, controlling the tempo of the game well. He would also show a quality left-handed swing with a wider base and simple stride, utilizing athleticism throughout the course of the swing. 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame with lean strength throughout. South Dakota State Commit. 

RHP Jac Wright  (St. Thomas Academy, 2025)
Displaying a lanky 6-foot-6, 205-pound frame with room for added strength, Jac Wright put on a show for MN Grizzlies. The righty threw five complete innings only giving up two earned runs while striking out nine. He stands tall on the mound and displays a high leg kick striding toward the right-handed batter’s box. His arm fully extends in his wind up as he throws out of a 3/4 arm slot. He is extremely loose making his delivery look easy and effortless. Wright has an 80-83 mph fastball that topped 84 mph with slight run to it. His fastball is complemented by a sharp 70-72 mph curveball. 

RHP Hunter VaDeer (Lyle Secondary, 2025) 
A lean 6-foot-1, 210-pound athletic frame, VaDeer, a Creighton commit, showed well in a relief appearance Thursday afternoon. The right-handed pitcher comes from a fluid motion which is followed by a quick arm action. VaDeer showed a three-pitch mix with a firm fastball sitting 85-88 mph, a sharp late-breaking curveball sitting 76-77 mph, and a change-up with lots of glove-side run at 80 mph. The righty showed feel and command for all three pitches, able to work off each one keeping hitters off-balanced.

MN Grizzlies 17U Gold 

C Stephen Nezerka (Rosemount, 2025) 
An athletic, 5-foot-11, 170-pound strong filled-out frame, Nezerka showed well in the Grizzlies final game of the weekend. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles showing his ability to find barrels and drive the ball to all parts of the field. Nezerka has a simple easy swing with hands that stay compact and work through the ball. Behind the plate, the catcher showed his athleticism working out of a multitude of stances. With soft hands and a strong forearm, he is able to steal strikes and work well-framing pitches. Nezerka also has a strong arm with repeated throws on a line to the bag.

Outlaws Baseball 2025

INF Gavin Lawrence (Washington, 2025) 
A built, 5-foot-8, 175-pound strong frame, Lawrence showed well Thursday night against the Louisville Legends. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 but put together impressive at-bats, one including an opposite-field line drive single that drove in two. Lawrence showcased rhythm and approach in the box followed by a simple, easy swing with quick strong hands that finds the barrel with ease and drives the ball to all parts of the field. He is able to generate easy power and as the summer winds down will follow in the 2025 uncommitted class.

LHP Aidan Terronez ( Sherrad, 2025)
A 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame, Terronez showed well in his outing Saturday night against the Hitters 2025. The left-hander went five innings with nine punch outs. The fastball sat 85-86 mph and was paired with a 74-74 mph slider. Mechanically, Terronez was throwing from a high ¾ slot, fluid delivery, and good tempo on the mound.

P2P Millers

C Ian McCrohan  (Waconia, 2025)
Displaying a strong and athletic 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame, McCrohan put on a show for the P2P Millers. The right-handed batter collected multiple hits on the day going 3-for-5. McCrohan has a simple swing with a wide crouched stance and small stride. He gets the barrel to the ball quickly fully extending through the zone and being quick out of the box. McCrohan is athletic behind the plate, not letting anything past him. He also possesses a leadership mentality behind the dish. 

RHP Jack McHugo (Osseo, 2025)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 75 in Minnesota’s 2025 class. Presenting a 6-foot-4, 146-pound frame with upside and projection, McHugo threw the ball well in his start on Friday. His fastball worked in the low 80’s, topping out at 84 mph. He would go to a 69-71 mph slider for whiffs, and would also show a 74-77 mph changeup that he relied on earlier in his start, and was comfortable throwing to right-handed hitters. McHugo punched out six batters over his six and two-thirds innings of work.

Prestige 2025

SS/RHP Sean Cody (Richards, 2025)
Illinois-Chicago commit. Currently ranked No. 91 in the state. Presenting an athletic and lean 6-foot, 183-pound frame, Cody displayed high bat-to-ball skills Thursday night. The right-handed hitter has a simple approach at the plate where he intends to hit line drives up the middle, and be aggressive in fastball-counts. He additionally showed reliable hands at shortstop with athletic footwork that fits the position. On the mound against GRB Rays Green Cody went 6.2 IP with seven punchouts while only allowing one run. The fastball sat 86-88 mph and topped out at 89 mph, the breaking ball sat 69-72 mph, and the change up was 73-74 mph. Cody used all three pitches to keep hitters off balance. Mechanically he has a clean arm slot and fluid delivery.

PTA CARDINAL 17u

RHP Carter Baumeister (Burlington, 2025)
Had a strong performance on the mound Thursday afternoon throwing a five inning complete game allowing only one run and two hits while striking out three with zero walks. The right hander worked a two pitch mix with the fastball at 79-82, T83 mph and a curveball at 68-72 mph. Was able to work quick innings only throwing 50 pitches in the game. Pitched to contact all day allowing weak contact throughout. 

RHP Sam Callow (Indian Trail, 2025)
Struck out five without surrendering any walks in six innings. It’s an average height  leg lift with a slight hesitation into a smooth arm. Callow worked 81-84 mph, maintaining velocity deep into the game. The curveball is a legit swing-and-miss offering that he used effectively in and out of the zone. The arsenal also features a changeup and cutter in the mid-70s.

SS Nathan Glapa (Sussex Hamilton, 2025)
Glapa drove in five runs in PTA Cardinal’s 7-3 win over GRB North Green. It’s a balanced right-handed swing with solid feel to hit and some gap-to-gap power. Defensively, he was steady with above-average actions and decent range. 

2B Braylan Bigler (Brookfield Central, 2025)
Bigler showed a quality profile this past weekend with an athletic right-handed swing. At the plate, the rising senior showed a simple & gritty approach out of the leadoff spot. In setup, Bigler presents a wider base, utilizing a leg kick to get into a position to hit. Athletic 5-foot-9, 172-pound frame with present strength throughout. 

OF Chase Maika (Tremper, 2025)
Maika showed a quality left-handed swing this past weekend with a calm presence in the box and barrel control. In setup, the rising senior stands upright with his bat almost resting on his shoulder before launching into an athletic position to hit. Athletic 6-foot-1, 181-pound frame with room for added strength.

OF Brady Burkhart (Normal, 2025)
Uncommitted. Strong 6-foot-1, 180 pound frame, displayed strong bat-to-ball skills at the plate Saturday, driving a double down the left field line and a two RBI single back up the middle. The left handed hitter possessed a closed upright setup, with a medium stride and a flat bat path. He also showcased solid range in the outfield, pacing to make several difficult plays. An overall impressive performance from the uncommitted left handed outfielder.

RHINO SPEISER 2025 17U

OF Max Kawa (Richard’s, 2025)
The speedy 5-foot-10, 155-pound outfielder started the tournament out hot at the plate. Kawa was perfect at the plate going 3-for-3 knocking three line drive singles. Showed off barrel control and contact skills to all fields. Kawa also showed off speed on the bases stealing two bags and accounting for two runs in Thursday's game. The uncommitted outfielder is a name to look at in the 2025 Illinois class. 

SS Noah Pharo (Minooka, 2025) 
An athletic, 6-foot, 170-pound frame, Pharo had an outstanding game at the plate against Puma Academy. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-3 including two doubles and a homerun. Pharo showcased rhythm in the box followed by a fluid powerful swing with quick hands that helped find barrels with ease. It’s a longer swing, but able to still stay on time and through the zone. Pharo also impressed with the glove. He showed quality actions as a smooth defender with good hands and a strong arm that works from different slots.

RHINO STAVOLA 

1B/RHP Troy Kashul (Naperville Central, 2025)
Plenty physical 6-foot-4, 210-pound uncommitted athlete. Took the mound for Rhino in a win on Saturday morning. Pounded the strike zone with a cutter/curveball mix, tossed five innings of one run ball. Flashed bat strength off the barrel from the right side, juiced one deep into right-center for a two-run double. Doesn’t get cheated; aggressive hacks, barrel travels on a long, level path through the zone. 

C Mason Palermo (Oswego East, 2025)
Oakland commit, ranked No. 96 overall in the state’s soon-to-be senior class. 6-foot, 180-pound frame with compact strength. Swings a strong right-handed barrel with juice, turned an inner-half fastball around with authority and barreled it straight to the third baseman for an infield single. Easy arm strength from the chute, carry through the bag. 

RHP Brogan Mello (Oswego, 2025)
An athletic, 5-foot-9, 175-pound frame, Mello tossed a quality start against ISA Black Friday afternoon. The right-handed pitcher tossed six innings allowing two earned runs, five hits, and two walks while striking out four. He showed a clean arm action along with a fluid repeatable motion. He was a deceptive pitcher with a two-pitch mix. The fastball was firm sitting 78-80 mph and the curveball was sitting 68-70 mph shaping more into a sweeper. Mello was able to generate soft contact outs and kept hitters off-balanced with the sweeper shape that paired well with the firm fastball.

RHINO CENTRAL IL 17U PAXSON

OF Deegan Aeilts (Normal University, 2025)
Aeilts is an uncommitted follow in the state’s incoming senior class. 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame with projection and more strength still to come. He’s a left-handed hitter at the plate, and he showed a loose, fluid load with some power in the bat, sending a home run over the right-field wall. A name-to-follow in Illinois.

RHP Will Paxson  (University HS, 2025)
Displaying a lengthy 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame with room for strength, Paxson was impressive on the mound and at the plate for the Rhinos. Paxson is loose and relaxed on the mound keeping his windup one fluid motion while throwing out of a 3/4 arm slot. Paxson’s fastball was thrown 83-86 mph complemented by a firm 74-77 mph slider. At the plate, Paxson went 2-for-3 with an RBI, spreading the field with hard hit balls. He displays easy mechanics with a wide stance, no stride, and a smooth slightly lifted swing. 

RHP Luke Klunke (Normal Community, 2025)
A 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-handed pitcher fired a no-hitter for his team on their Friday afternoon game. Used a balance mix of fastball and slider to keep the batter off-balance and finished the game with a 70-percent strike rate. The fastball came out clean from the hand, sitting 82-85 mph the entire outing. He also went to a wipeout slider with confidence. 

Selects Americans

CF Noah Hahn  (New Life Academy, 2025)
Possessing a strong and athletic 6-foot-2, 190-pound display, Noah Hahn was slugging the ball for Select Baseball. The right-handed batter went 2-for-3 on the day with a solo homer in the first inning. Both of Hahn’s hits were to the right side of the field. Hahn stands tall at the plate with a long stride driving through the ball with an easy and smooth swing portraying slight lift. 

RHP Mason Boyken  (Two Rivers, 2025)
Displaying a strong and proportionate 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame, Mason Boyken was lights out on the mound for Select Baseball. Boyken was extremely efficient. He threw a full seven inning game while only throwing 68 pitches. He gave up no runs and only four hits in those seven innings. Boyken was hitting his spots creating a lot of weak contact all game. On the mound, Boyken is relaxed and loose. It looks as if he is playing catch out there. He has a small leg kick throwing out of a 3/4 arm slot. 

RHP Jackson Dial (Stevens HS-42, 2025)
Arizona State commit. Dial showed impressive stuff this past weekend with an advanced feel for spin and a quality four-pitch mix. The right-handed pitcher's four-seam fastball would sit in the upper 80s, topping out at 89 mph with spin rates in the 1900-2200 rpm ranges. Dial would also show a cut-fastball variation that sat in the 84-86 mph range that saw up to 2450 rpm. The mid-70s changeup was also a valuable weapon, sitting in the high-70s, tunneling well with the primary fastball. Lastly, the rising senior would also show a mid-70s breaking ball with as high as 2700 rpm. A quality overall arsenal, Dial displayed easy velocity and a projectable 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame. 

OF AJ Levy (Stillwater, 2025) 
An athletic, 5-foot-7, 175-pound frame, Levy impressed in the Selects Baseball Americans game against GRB Stiks Grey. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 with two singles, one being a shot hitting off of the monster in left field. Levy is a twitchy hitter, finding rhythm in the box and showing quick hands that keep the barrel in the zone. He creates a level flat bat path able to constantly find barrel balls and drive the ball to all parts of the field. Levy also showed good actions in the outfield making the right reads and taking the correct routes to balls.

Selects Nationals

LHP Eli Babler (St. Croix Central, 2025)
Long levers, 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame. On Friday, Babler was brought into the bottom of the seventh where he successfully closed the door without allowing a baserunner. In the brief stint, Babler topped his fastball at 86 mph from the left side and sat at 83-85 mph. Due to the short outing, Babler only tossed a minimal amount of off-speed, which was a tighter breaking pitch at 73 mph. With clear upside in the frame, Babler is an interesting uncommitted follow in Wisconsin as the summer circuit continues.

LHP Colin Mitchell  (Breck, 2025)
Possessing an athletic and proportionate 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame, Mitchell threw a gem on the mound for Select baseball. The lefty threw five innings only giving up three earned runs while striking out five. Mitchell has a high leg kick and strides toward the left handed batter’s box keeping the ball hidden from the batter’s view. He has an easy delivery throwing out of a low 3/4 arm slot. Mitchell’s fastball was thrown 81-83 mph complemented with a 70-71 mph curveball and a 75-76 mph changeup. In addition to his pitching, Mitchell batted in the two-hole, going 1-for-2 with two walks while scoring two runs. He has an easy and simple swing with a wide stance and small stride. 

RHP Joe Timmerman (Rosemount, 2025)
A strong, 6-foot, 196-pound frame, Timmerman gave a quality start Thursday afternoon for Selects Baseball Nationals. The right-handed pitcher tossed four innings allowing no runs, one hit, and one walk, while striking out eight. Timmerman throws from a quick leg kick fluid motion that is followed by a quick short arm from the ¾ slot. His fastball was sitting 83-85 mph with glove side run and the curveball was sitting 72-73 mph with a late in-zone break. Timmerman attacked hitters with effective command of both pitches, getting ahead early in counts. The curveball worked well off of the fastball, able to freeze hitters, keeping them off-balance. 

RHP Hayden Vucinovich (Bloomington Jefferson, 2025)   
A built, 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame, Vucinovich impressed in a relief appearance Thursday afternoon. The right-handed pitcher tossed two innings allowing one run, one hit, and one walk while striking out four. Vucinovich showed a fluid motion with a quick late whippy arm. He showed a two-pitch mix with the fastball sitting 85-88 mph and curveball sitting 72-76 mph. Vucinovich was effective in filling the zone up, showing command for both pitches, and getting quick outs.

LHP Ryan Frano (Glenbard East, 2025)
Frano would have a quality day in relief Thursday, throwing 1.1 innings, allowing no hits and no walks while striking out four. The left-handed pitcher showed deceptive actions on the mound with an 82-84 mph fastball and low-70s slider, hiding the ball well while giving intriguing looks to hitters. 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame. 

SS Brady Green (Oak Park-River Forest, 2025)
NIU commit. The No. 62 ranked player in Illinois' 2025 class would continue to show quality actions this weekend. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed relaxed actions in the box during setup before launching into an athletic position to hit via a leg kick. Defensively, the shortstop showed quality actions and advanced instincts that played up all weekend. 5-foot-11, 167-pound frame with present strength throughout. 

OF Timmy Leark (Oak Park-River Forest, 2025)
NIU commit. The No. 77 ranked player in Illinois' 2025 Class, Leark would consistently find the barrel throughout the weekend, acting as an offensive catalyst at the top of the order for Strikes Baseball. The left-handed hitter showed a wider base in setup with a simple stride and flat-bat path, presenting athletic actions throughout his swing. 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame. 

3B Ryan Lazewski (Fenwick, 2025)
Lazewski showed an intriguing LHH/3B profile this past weekend with a 6-foot, 171-pound frame with room for added strength. At the plate, the rising senior presents an upright slightly open stance in setup before launching into an athletic position to hit with a slightly uphill bat path. 

UTL Alec Gunderson (St Ignatius, 2025)
Gunderson would show an intriguing profile weekend, with elite defensive versatility, playing high-quality defense both on the dirt and behind the plate. At second base, Gunderson would show range actions with athletic movements and advanced instincts. Behind the plate, the rising senior would show confident, natural actions with present athleticism and flexibility. Baseball IQ and instincts were obvious parts of Gunderson's game. At the plate, the right-handed hitter would also show well with an athletic setup with a simple stride and a slightly uphill bat path. Athletic 6-foot, 179-pound. Must follow name in the rising senior class. 

OF/1B Kendall Wallace (Oak Park-River Forest, 2025)
Wallace presents an intriguing 6-foot, 165-pound frame with present athleticism and obvious room for added strength. At the plate, the right-handed hitter stands upright, utilizing a simple toe tap to get into a position to hit. Wallace's athleticism would play up throughout the weekend at RF and 1B.

LHP Luke Hickey (Fenwick, 2025)
An athletic, 6-foot-1, 160-pound loose frame, Hickey tossed a quality start Friday morning against the Illinois Lighting. The left-handed pitcher tossed five and two-thirds innings allowing two runs and four walks while striking out five. Hickey had a repeatable motion and threw with a quick short arm. He mixed two pitches with a fastball sitting 80-84 mph with a slight sink and a curveball sitting 69-72 mph. The lefty was able to command and mix both pitches effectively attacking hitters early, creating whiffs and soft contact. With the season gearing to an end Hickey showed well and will be a name to know in the 2025 uncommitted class.

Summit City Sluggers

C Jordyn Gillespie (Kokomo, 2025)
Athletic, 6-foot-1, 185-pound, made several clutch defensive plays during the Sluggers’ Saturday night pool-play game. He put on a clinic in the first inning, limiting the damage with a throw behind the runner at third and a caught stealing at second. Proved to be an agile mover with quick footwork on a back pick of a runner at first in the third inning and bare-handed bunt play later in the game. He would also add an opposite field single in his third at-bat of the game. Overall game-altering defense from the uncommitted Gillespie.  

RHP Evan Anderson (Homestead, 2025) 
A projectable, 6-foot-6, 185-pound frame, Anderson had a quality start on the mound against the GRB Rays North Yellow. The right-handed pitcher tossed six innings allowing three runs, three hits, and four walks while striking out five. Anderson has a loose quick arm throwing from a low ¾ slot. He was fastball heavy showcasing one sitting 81-84 mph with glove side run that tended to sink. There was also a change-up flashed at 77 mph, used as a change of pace. Anderson filled the zone able to generate quick at-bats, letting his defense work for him. The righty grabs velocity and shows the potential to climb more in that department.

WHITE SOX ELITE BLACK

SS Matt Sonnenschein (Naperville North, 2025) 
Stands in at an athletic frame at 6-foot, 190-pounds. Showed quality actions on the infield with fluid footwork and a clean arm across the diamond. At the plate he barreled a ball off the left/center wall for a two-RBI double, the right-handed hitter has a short and quick path to the ball. Continued to impress at the plate Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Uncommitted follow in Illinois.

OF Josh Fleming (York, 2025)
A powerful, 6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic frame, had an outstanding day at the plate in two games Thursday. The right-handed hitter sent four balls over the fence showcasing his strength and ability to drive the ball to all parts of the field. Fleming generates easy power with strong quick hands that allow the bat to move quickly and stay in the zone. He also creates a flat path, able to find barrels with ease. With performances like this Fleming has set himself in front of the rest making sure he is a name to be known in the uncommitted class of 2025.  

RHP Ben Dizillo (York, 2025) 
Provided a quality look on the mound in his start on Thursday morning. Dizllo featured a clean and athletic delivery down the mound with a loose arm out of a lower arm slot. His fastball sat in the upper-70s and touched 80 mph multiple times, while mixing in a low-70s breaking ball.

OF Austin Castaneda (Rock Falls, 2025)
Uncommitted. 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame, had an impressive day at the plate Saturday evening. He had two doubles, finishing the day with two RBIs as well. The left-handed outfielder utilized his strong upper half to pull his second double of the day down the line. An overall strong performance from the uncommitted outfielder.

OF Ryan Lisowski (York, 2025)
Uncommitted. Built 5-foot-11, 195-pound frame, swung a hot bat all weekend, which culminated in a five RBI game on Saturday. He roped a three run home run to deep left center and drove in another two runs with a double. The right-handed hitter possessed a wide base with short and quick hands, no stride finish, and an intentful swing. The RHH outfielder has continued to make a name for himself in the state of Illinois as one of the better uncommitted bats to follow in the class of 2025.

RHP Ben Dizillo (York Community, 2025)
Displaying an athletic 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame with room for added strength, Dizillo moves well on the mound. The righty threw six innings only giving up two earned runs while striking out five. On the mound, Dizillo is loose with simple mechanics. His windup is one fluid motion as he portrays a long stride throwing out of a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball has slight run as it is thrown 77-80 mph. HIs sharp slider is thrown 69-72 mph catching hitters off balance.

White Sox Elite-White

OF Marco Giorno (York, 2025)
Athletic, 5-foot-10, 185-pound frame, impressed at the plate and in centerfield during White Sox Elite-White’s 9-1 win Saturday afternoon. The left-handed bat went 2-for-3 with an RBI single up the middle to get the scoring underway and a pull-side RBI single in the fifth inning. Kept his hands inside the baseball regularly throughout all three at-bats. Showed a short stride, compact swing, strong wrists, and a still head at the point of contact. Defensively, he took correct angles on fly balls directly behind his starting point, as well as saving extra bases cutting off base hits in both gaps. An all around productive game for the uncommitted Giorno. 

Windy City

RHP Konrad Toth (Glenbard East, 2025)
Uncommitted. A 6-foot-1, 180-pound right handed pitcher toed the rubber for Windy City in their Thursday game against Extreme Elite. Toth went four innings and allowed four runs on four hits and struck out five. Attacked hitters early with a fastball playing 85-87 mph early in his outing. Backing the fastball was a curveball that created some swing and misses, sitting 73-74 mph. 

RHP/SS Sean Campbell (Riverside Brookfield)
Uncommitted. Campbell stands in at a long 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, and showcased his two way abilities in a 9-0 victory for Windy City on Saturday. He took the mound in a six inning complete game shutout, only allowing three hits. He possessed a three pitch mix utilizing a fastball at 78-81, a curveball at 66-68 mph, and a changeup at 72-74 mph. At the plate, he crushed a pull-side ground rule double to deep left and showed loose hands.

LHP Riley Blackwell (John Hersey, 2025)
Athletic left-hander with cross-body delivery. Sat 80-82 mph with the fastball, striking out eight while walking just three in six innings of work. The breaking ball is a sweeping slider garnering both swing and miss and landing for strikes.

SS Theodore Greco (Lane Tech, 2025)
Greco showed a quality profile this past weekend with fluid defensive actions and a solid right-handed swing. At the plate, the rising senior presents a medium upright base with his hands high before launching into an athletic position to hit via leg kick. Additionally, Greco showed athletic movements on both sides of the ball. 5-foot-10, 187-pound frame. 

RHP Peter Mulhern (Palatine, 2025)
Mulhern showed a quality profile on the mound this past weekend with a solid three-pitch mix. The right-handed pitcher would show a fastball in the 83-86 mph range that was thrown alongside a 76-77 mph changeup and 73-74 mph slider. Athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame.
