4/14/15 - Nebraska commit. Kid is fun to watch, great hands and footwork around the bag at second. Feet work well towards target. Left-handed hitter, at the plate understands the lead off role, makes the pitchers work, spoils pitches that are border line with two strikes. Great approach, consistent routine. Ranked No. 8 in Wisconsin, No. 289 overall.  

3/16/14 - Nebraska commit. Athletic left handed hitting shortstop, 5-foot-10, 170-pounds. Highly ranked 2015 prospect. Advanced defensive action, highly athletic, plays fluidly through the baseball, feet work well. Showed advanced foot speed. 3.94 runner down the line. Arm is athletic and shows the ability to release well on the move, arm can play from multiple angles, 76 mph across the diamond. Offensively hits from an open stance, smooth loading action, short stride, good balance throughout. Middle of the field approach, line drive type hitter, fluid swing with bat speed. 88 mph exit velocity from the tee.

8/4//13 - Henwood is one of the smoothest middle infielders around, he makes defending the middle of the infield look extremely easy. At 5-foot-10, 170-pounds Henwood plays at a high level on when on the move (6.87 runner). His arm action is highly athletic and shows the ability to seemingly release the baseball from any slot necessary (78 mph), this gives Henwood the upper hand when turning double plays, showing the ability to avoid runners and move around the bag with ease while still getting plenty of carry on the baseball. Offensivley Henwood shows well above average bat speed from the left side. Henwood looks best when using the middle to opposite fields. Henwood also brings a high energy to the field and is clearly a vocal leader in the middle of the diamond. He is constantly in tune to game situations and shows advanced baseball IQ. Henwood brings a lot of intangible assets to a team including his leadership and charisma in the dugout.

 
3/3/13 - Athletic frame, 5-foot-10, 170-pound left handed hitting shortstop. One of the premier shortstops in the Class of 2015, high level defender. Defensively shows soft hands, advanced infield actions, fluid footwork, 4.16 runner down the line, fields left of center and plays through it. Arm works loosely, short arm action, quick release, high ¾ arm action, showed accuracy, 78 mph arm strength across the diamond. Offensively hits from the left side, open stance, smooth load, short stride, occasionally dives to the baseball, excellent balance. Lower half works, short bat path, flat through the zone with extension. Line drive gap to gap hitter, repeatable swing makes consistent contact, barrel awareness, works the middle of the field. Overall high level 2015 recruit.
