Bashara is 5-10 with a lankier athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the left side from an athletic stance, strides on line, short load back, hips rotate completely, some balance to swing. Takes barrel straight to ball, slightly uphill swing path gets more uphill to pull side, showed good approach working primarily gap to gap, exit velocity was 78. At short, gets body behind ball and fields with above average hands and a wider base. Works through ball to a clean exchange, throws from low three quarters arm slot, position velocity was 71. On the mound, he throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot with a short free arm action with some quickness and normal effort. Shoulders slightly closed and level, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was 80-81, touching 82, with downward plane and a bit of late run. Curveball was 66-69 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break. Change-up was 75-76 with some armspeed and late run.
