Watermolen is 5-10 with a strong athletic frame that some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, strides in place, short load down and back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a good approach working primarily up the middle with some extra-base power to his pull side, exit velocity was 79. Lower half gets through with some violence and showed potential power. Exit velocity was 81 mph. Home-1st time was 4.50. Feet get in line for the throw with a clean exchange. Fall Invite
Strong physical frame. Gets great separation and usage of the lower half first. Balanced upright finish. Barrel has some explosion through the zone with good hand and wrist strength. In the outfield Thomas fields off the glove side well and utilizes his physical strength into the throw. Behind the dish he transfers the ball to hand quickly and body stays in the throwing lane. Could improve by firming the front leg up on foot strike to allow the backside to finish the throw.
