Sloan is 6-3 with a lankier athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a taller balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength at contact, showed a good approach using the whole field, has some gap power potential, exit velocity was 82. Ran a 4.65 home to first. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action with some effort to his delivery. Slight drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 76-80, touching 81, with downward plane to it and a bit of late armside run to it. Curveball was 69-70 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break to it.
