9.6.15:  Taylor is an athletic lefty that throws with a drop and drive delivery from a three-quarters arm slot. He has a short arm action and a very quick arm that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are closed and he hides the ball very well. Taylor’s fastball sat 82-85 and touched 86, with heavy run on it. His slider had power 1/7 break and was thrown with full armspeed, running 76-78. His changeup had heavy fade and ran 74-78. Taylor had good command of all three pitches and pounded the bottom of the zone.

He has a long, loose arm action and generates easy velocity with a quick armstroke. His shoulders are level and closed and he strides out on line before landing a bit open and falling off after release. Taylor’s fastball sat 83-85, touching 86, with late run to it. His slider had late 10/4 action and was thrown with full armspeed, running 76-78. His change-up had fading action and was thrown with full armspeed, sitting 77-79. Taylor had outstanding command of all three pitches.

11/9/2014:  Taylor has an athletic 6-foot-1 frame. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot and generates easy velocity. He has smooth mechanics and stays on line throughout his delivery.
