6-foot-2, 177-pound thin athletic frame. Quigley came on in relief of Rollison, working two and two-thirds, allowing two hits, and no runs. The right hander was scattered at times, but made some big pitches in big situations for the Cougars. Short arm swing and works from a three-quarter arm slot. The slot drops slightly on the breaking ball, but it was still effective in the zone. The fastball sat 76-79 mph and the breaking ball had 12/6 break and tended to back up to the arm side at 66-67 mph. He got himself into some negative counts and was able to work himself back, showing some solid poise considering the situations he was in at times.

Quigley is 6-0 with an athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with strength at contact and some extension through the ball, showed a pull approach with the ability to use the whole field, has some gap power present with more to come, exit velocity was 82. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short loose arm action, position velocity was 79. Ran a 4.19 home to first. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, long free arm action with normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are slightly uphill and slightly closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 73-75, with some sink and a bit of armside run. Curveball was 62-65 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break to it.
