Golden has a lankier athletic frame that still has projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot. Longer loose quick arm action with effort in his drop and drive delivery. Shoulders are level and closed, lands closed with a fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball sat at 88 with hard late armside run. Curveball was 69-73 with good armspeed and sharp hard 10/4 break. Showed ability to adjust the shape of his curveball.

Golden has a lanky frame with a lot of projection left that he needs to add strength to. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery, short free arm action that has some quickness to it. Throws with some effort. Mechanics and timing were inconsistent in the outing, varying the pacing of his leg lift and messing with his timing, command was off and he was up in the zone as a result. Fastball was 78-80. Showed good armspeed on his curveball, which was sharp with 10/4 break at 65-68. Curveball showed swing and miss potential already and he throws it well. Threw one straight change that was 71 with some armspeed. An arm worth tracking as he fills out his frame and gets stronger.
