10.12.15 Boyd is a lanky lefty who throws from a side arm slot with a choppy drop and drive delivery. His shoulders are closed as he strides out to a slightly closed landing, creating a crossfire delivery that has a lot of deception. His fastball has some late sink to it and ran 71-72, touching 73 and he pounded the bottom of the zone with it.
