10.23.16 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Pitched 83-85mph. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Compact, quick arm action with some effort. Above average arm speed. Good use of hips getting down the mound along with solid front leg stabilization and extension. Lands slightly open. Good overall use of lower half in delivery. Curveball showed 11/5 shape with tight rotation and bite. Curveball was 69-71mph. Slider showed 10/4 shape with average rotation and sweeping action. Slider was 68-70mph. Threw changeup with near fastball arm action with sink to it. Changeup was 72-74mph.
8.9.16 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Controlled quick delivery. Longer free arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm slot. Creates fast arm speed. High leg kick with some hip load and gets some lower half involvement. Lands square to the plate. Fastball jumps out and has some sink on the pitch up to 85 mph. Changeup has fade to the pitch with a slower arm speed on the pitch at 72-74 mph. Breaking ball has nice 10/4 action with put-away potential and later break. Nice rotation on the pitch at 70 mph.

4.15.15: Pecilunas throws from a high three-quarters slot and has a short, loose, quick arm that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are closed and he lands a bit open, leading to a slight fall off as he finishes. Pecilunas’ fastball touched 82 in the first inning, and settled in at 79-81, which he held through the fifth inning. The pitch had slight, late run to it. He threw a fading change-up with decent armspeed that ran 75-76. Pecilunas’ slider was tight and had gradual 11/5 spin, sitting 68-69. As he develops and his velocity increases, his slider projects to become an outstanding pitch.
