Wise is 5-11 with a lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load down and back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, very quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with strength at contact and some extension through the ball, showed a good approach using the whole field, some loft in his swing, can drive ball to all fields with more power in the tank, exit velocity was 83. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 73. Ran a 4.48 home to first. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, very short loose quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are downhill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 76-78, touching 79, with some late sink to it. Curveball was 64-65 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break to it.
