Trimarchi has an athletic frame with projection left. Normal effort delivery and builds up arm speed and whip through release. Shorter arm circle with some deception from a three-quarter arm slot. The fastball is live and has carry through the zone. He was 86-88 when he came on in relief in the fifth and then settled in to 83-86 mph in the sixth inning. Did not show many sliders, which the times that have seen him have been quite possibly his best pitch, but he did throw one for a swinging strikeout at 76 mph.

Richmond Braves Workout
Projectable 6-foot-1, 160-pound frame. Delivery has some pace to it. Sinks in back leg moving towards the plate and shows a slightly deceptive short arm circle while throwing from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sat 85-87 with spin rate ranging from 2312-2427 and played well at both ends of the zone. Slider was impressive. Did not appear to have a high strike percentage, but he was able to start it in the zone and it finished down. Plays really well off the fastball and will get plenty of swings and misses. The slider sat 76-78 mph and spin rate was 2540-2580. This is an uncommitted prospect that has a chance to miss a lot of bats and with some added strength could be a big time arm in the next few years.
