Hamill is 6-3 with a lankier athletic 180 pound frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot, breaks long before tightening up to a very short loose quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 84-85, touching 86, with some downward angle and some late armside run. Curveball was 68-69 with good armspeed and gradual 10/4 break to it. Change-up was 76-81 with good armspeed and some late armside run to it. Slider was 72-73 with good armspeed and hard 10/4 break.

Hamill is 6-3 with a long lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot, longer loose arm action that is quick, normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish with recoil. Fastball was 79-82, with some late cut to it. Curveball had some armspeed and and sharp 11/5 break at 63-67. Change-up had good armspeed and was 70-72 with some sink to it.
10/20/19
Long thin projectable frame with plenty of room to add strength to the 6-foot-2, 160-pounder. Short quick arm from a high three-quarter arm slot for the long levered right-hander. Fluid and repeatable, low effort delivery with a fastball that got up to an easy 81 mph and sat 76-80 mph with some arm side run. Breaking ball, while inconsistent, showed some potential with a bigger 11/5 break and hard late action at 63-65 mph. This is a right hander that you should keep an eye on as he continues to grow into the frame, as I think there are a few more jumps coming Hamill’s way.
