Hatcher is 5-9 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, short smooth load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a primarily pull approach with the ability to use the whole field, exit velocity was 80. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 72. Ran a 7.11 60 yard dash.

Athletic frame standing 5-foot-6, 130-pounds. Ran an impressive 6.76 60. Slightly upright stance hitting from the right side. Starts square before striding forward and landing on line. Hands are relaxed and flow while loading back. Swing is short to the ball and path is level. Had some line drive tendency and used the middle of the field well. Could benefit from finishing lower half completely. Exit velocity was 78 mph. Fluid approach in the outfield, presents glove well, and uses a longer arm action throwing from a high three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 76 mph.

2019 Diamondskills Summer All American Camp
Athletic frame at 5-foot-7, 140-pounds. Ran an easy 6.88 60 that should continue to improve. Hits from the right side with an athletic square stance and finishes on line after a direct pick up and put down to stride. Hands have small load up and back, are short and direct to the ball, and stay showed ability to pull hands inside. Flashed some developing pop to the pull side, but mainly stayed with a gap to gap line drive approach. Defensively, Hatcher was under control on approach, solid glove presentation, centered exchange, and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot at 77 mph. Throws were pretty consistently in line and around the base.

2019 Diamondskills All American Camp
5-foot-6, 130-pound thin athletic frame. Displayed quickness while running a 6.84 60. Stance is athletic with hands set high, starts in line with a toe tap to stride in line. Hands load to a strong hitting position and are short to the ball getting on plane for a line drive type of swing path. Stays through the ball to extension and finishes high. Is balanced and uses lower half completely. Exit velo is 70 mph. Smooth athletic approach to catch, working the feet through the ball, and utilizing a higher crow hop to create momentum on the throw. Arm action is longer with average arm speed and ball gets out from a low three-quarter arm slot at 70 mph. Closes on flyballs with ease.
