Pushes through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, infield velocity was 72.

5.22.16:  Moriarty has a lanky 5-10 frame. Throws from an over the top slot with a tall and fall delivery. Long arm action that generates velocity with normal effort. Shoulders are level and he strides out on line to a square landing with an athletic finish. Fastball was 69-72. Gradual 11/5 curveball with good armspeed that was thrown for strikes, running 59-62. Good armspeed on change-up that ran 68. Hits from a balanced, athletic stance with posture leaned over. Slight load back with short, controlled stride. Maintains balance throughout swing. Slight arm bar with a long path at times. Bat exit velocity of 81 MPH. Line drive hitter. Throws from a long, loose high three-quarters arm slot. Average hands with stiff footwork.
