Fuhrman has an athletic 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame with proportional strength. Body has cleaned up and added some lean strength since the summer. Seems to move better out of the box and around the field as well. Started as shortstop and did a solid job, but like many times in high school teams play their best athletes at shortstop out of necessity. Long term Fuhrman is more than likely a corner outfielder, or possible first baseman. At the plate it is an upright narrow stance. Hands are really short to contact and a flat path through the zone. Has above average hand and bat speed and with his short path to contact and feel for the barrel I think he will handle velo well. Was a bit out front early on and produced some groundballs to the left side. In his final at bat he recognized spin well and kept the hands back singling through the middle. I like the hit tool for Furhman. Right now it is more line drive doubles with occasional power. Fuhrman is a South Carolina commit.

Fuhrman is 6-1 with a strong athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open athletic stance, short stride on line, minimal load back. Hips rotate completely with violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and very quick to the ball, whippy bat, slightly uphill line drive swing, showed ability to use whole field, strong at contact with extension through the ball, exit velocity was 90. In the outfield, gets behind the ball and fields with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 85. Ran a 7.35 60 yard dash.

Furhman is 5-11 with an athletic frame that still has projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open upright balanced stance, leg kick stride on line, short load back, good rhythm to his swing. Explosive lower half and good balance, full hip rotation. Very short to ball, level line drive swing, strong at contact with some whippy extension, showed good approach working gap to gap, doubles power already present with chance for more, exit velocity was 90. At short, gets body behind the ball and fields with a wider base and average hands. Works through ball to a clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a short free arm action, infield velocity was 78. On the mound, throws from low three-quarters arm slot with a short, quick arm action and some effort. Strides out on line and falls off a bit, with some recoil at the end of his delivery. Fastball was 77-79, touching 80, with boring action and late sink. Curveball was 66-68 with gradual 10/4 break and some armspeed, pitch should sharpen as he develops.
