5-foot-9, 175-pound compact frame. Irizarry is one of my favorite players to watch. Plays with tons of energy and is a coach on the field. The Penn State-Harrisburg commit is always talking up and encouraging teammates. Well rounded player with a strong offensive skill set. Adjustability in the swing, short to contact, and accurate barrel. Defensively he is a solid all around defender. Hands work, comes forward well, and has the ability to throw on the run. This kid is a spark plug and was the most consistent force for Paul VI on Saturday.

Irizarry is 5-9 with an athletic 175 pound frame that has some strength present with room to add some more. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, short load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with strength at contact and some extension through the ball, has some feel for the barrel. Showed a good approach working gap to gap with extra base power to all fields, exit velocity was 90. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a good wide base and soft quick hands, works through the ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 78. Ran a 7.42 60 yard dash.
