Schaeb has a lankier athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short quick arm and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are high and closed and he lands closed before falling off as he finishes. His fastball was 79-80 with arm side run and some depth to it. Curveball was 69-71 with some armspeed and 1/7 break to it. Change-up was 75 with good armspeed.
