2.22.15 Hit from an athletic stance that was tall and balanced.  Load was methodical at times, which made rhythm stiff.  Short stride that stayed on line and balanced. Maintained balance throughout swing.  Bat was quick through the zone.  Exit velocity was 78 mph.  Had a good approach during the round.  Swing path was short and level. Line drive stroke.  Behind the plate, threw from a high ¾ arm slot.  Solid setup with good hands.  Receiving was rigid at times.  Throws were accurate with carry.  Stiff arm action. Pop times were 1.95 - 2.19.  Feet were quick with consistently clean exchanges.
7/31/14:  6-foot-2, 170 pound, Catcher, hit from a balanced stance.  Had very little rhythm in his lower half and had a pre-set stride when the pitch was arriving.  From this set up, Blevins was able to take a direct hand path to the baseball and sprayed ball all around the diamond.  He showed above average bat speed (76 mph) and a line drive stroke.  Behind the plate, Blevins was an above average receiver with soft hands and a good set up.  During the throwing portion, he showed the ability to have a quick release (2.12-2.19) with arm strength (74 mph) while not quite getting parallel with the lower half.  Showed quick feet on all throws.
