Cosby rallied after trailing all game to win in the bottom of the seventh on Christian Hague’s walk-off single.
C.D. Hylton 1, Western Branch 0
Senior Ryan Billy threw a two-hit shutout with one walk and nine strikeouts in the win. Senior Blake Coleman (Maryland Eastern Shore) drove in Fox Semones (James Madison) in the top of the seventh to score the lone run of the game.

No. 23 Mountain View 2, No. 24 Halifax County 1

Senior Brandon Caycedo (Marymount) earned the win as the Panthers go to states for the first time in sixteen years. Senior Alex Burke (St. Bonaventure) picked up the save and Drew Blevins (Marymount) and Michael Buchino each had an RBI.

No. 22 Mills Godwin 3, Glen Allen 2
Conor Nolan earned the win, throwing the first four innings as Godwin beat Glen Allen for the third time this spring. Harrison Moncure threw the last three innings to seal the win.
Nansemond River 5, Indian River 1
Junior Jarret Hendersen earned the win with six innings of work and Dion Jordan (Norfolk State) has a two run single.
4A East Quarterfinal
Lafayette at Great Bridge, postponed. Again.

No. 3 Liberty Christian 5, No. 16 Millbrook 1
Senior Garret Price (Liberty) threw a complete game two-hitter in the win.
No. 11 Kettle Run 15, Salem 1
This game was 1-1 headed to fifth when the Cougar offense erupted. Junior Tyler Bianco had an inside-the-park grand slam.

Sophomore Austin Gault drew a walk-off walk, his second walk-off RBI in as many days.

Devin Sisson hit a three-run home run in the top of the eleventh.

Fort Chiswell 6, Auburn 3
Fort Chiswell trailed Auburn 3-0 heading to top of 5th and scored 4 to take the lead and hold on for a 6-3 win. Senior Bryson Booher (Concord) got the win, throwing a complete game with 1 earned run on five hits with six strikeouts. Chance Davis had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Tanner Bailey, Ben VanDyne, and Ben Porter all added hits.
Eastside 8, Honaker 1
Austin Smallwood threw a no-hitter, retiring the last sixteen batters of the game.
