3.23.18 6-foot-5, 190-pound, long lean, pitcher’s frame. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with regular effort in his delivery. Hilton’s fastball was 90-92, touching 94 in the first and 93 in the second and third innings. His changeup 81-83 with arm side run. Hilton’s line for the night was 6 innings, 2 hits, 1 earned run, 5 walks, with 10 strikeouts while picking up the win.
07.01.17 - was 87-89 mph in the first inning on Friday night, with a 77-79 mph slider. Hilton works from a high-¾ slot with a short, quick arm stroke and some effort in his delivery. His fastball flattened out above the knee, but his slider flashed signs of being a plus pitch with short, late, 11-5 break. He only lasted three innings, but the 6-foot-5, 180-pound, Hilton has a lean, projectable frame.
06.20.17 - 6-foot-5, 185-pound frame. Hilton is an intriguing right-hander that works from a high-¾ slot with a short arm stroke from his ear with slight head-whack. His max effort delivery creates deception and action on his 85-88 mph fastball. He throws a solid cutter at 80-82 mph that acts as a slider with short, lateral action. He threw one pitch that looked like a changeup and had arm side life at 81 mph.
