Luke Sandefur, Aledo (TX), 2026 Positional Profile: RHP/3B RHP…moves well on the mound. Like the upside to FB raw velocity, can improve execution of FB up/down. Likes to work up presently. CB with quality spin, swing and miss pitch in future. Change has action with deception. Command/control development is key to future. Solid raw stuff. Body: 5-9, 167-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Good mover on the mound. Delivery: Side step rocker, good job of getting into back leg and using lower 1/2. 1st base side start, slight cross step delivery. Arm Action: RH. Full circle with some length to backside. Arm speed present. TQ/LTQ slot with extension to release and good finish out front. FB: T88, 86-87 mph. FB command can be improved. Worked up in zone with tail action to arm side. When down showed solid plane. Like the upside to FB, will throw harder. T2296, 2213 average rpm. CB: 74-76 mph. Good spin, likes feel for consistent release. Shows quality finish, depth present with some tilt. Solid pitch in future, will get swing and miss. T2842, 2625 average rpm. SL: 74-74 mph. CB similar action/break. T2505, 2505 average rpm. CH: 77-80 mph. Turnover type with fade/sink. Solid deception. T2572, 1895 average rpm.

Good build with strength and some definition to lower now, will gain strength in upper. Delivery: Solid, athletic delivery, uses lower 1/2 well in delivery. Arm Action: RH. Arm speed with good arm action. Comes out of hand well. FB: T88, 85-87 mph. Good pitch, carry up zone. Works both sides of plate down. T2314, 2165 average rpm. CB: 73-74 mph. RHR…arm quickness with upside to FB, ability to spin baseball. Good player to watch develop. Body: 5-9, 169-pounds. Good build with strength and some definition to lower now, will gain strength in upper. Hit: RHH. Wide, slightly open with crouched stance. Weight shift to back leg starting stride which returns to online to mound. Late linear movement to back leg, never gets fully involved, will stop foot rotation or slide foot away from home plate. Opportunities to improve lower 1/2 getting involved with firming linear back foot movement. Hands/barrel start in good position, trigger movement to hands creates some length with barrel. Can improve barrel control in hitting zone, gets uphill with swing in zone creating fly ball contact. Would like to see him develop ability to manipulate hands resulting in improved barrel control and stay on plane with baseball working for line drives. 66.4 mph bat speed with 8 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 80.0 mph. 352' max distance. Will have some pull side power, needs to work on developing line drive contact with the occasional fly ball. Over the fence power is not part of his game. Manipulating hands/controlling barrel will improve contact consistency. Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Arm work well with good circle, throws have carry. Avg future arm strength. Defense: Good defender with body control. Good 1st step, feet work well getting body into sound fielding position. Good hands. ATH: 7.10 runner in the 60. Runs well, solid mover. Vizual Edge: 66.75 Edge Score

Luke Sandefur, Aledo (TX), 2026 Positional Profile: 3B/RHP Luke is a solid athlete who shows smoothness both in the INF and on the bump. With time to develop he could add value to a lineup with his bat, and shows the potential to develop into a well rounded RHP with a quality 3 pitch mix. Body: 5-8, 167-pounds. Medium athletic frame with solid lower half. Delivery: Fast tempo with a smooth and clean delivery with a high coiled leg kick. Has good ride down the mound on the back leg and the start of a good back hip load, but rolls the hips forward loosing some velo. With a better hinge into the back hip rather than roll into the load he will make a quick jump in velo. Gets hand out front at release and finishes over the front side well. Arm Action: RH. Loose over the top arm action. Quick arm with a slight jerkiness to it, but it works well and generates good layback and whip. FB: T86, 84-86 mph. FB command needs to improve, but spins well and has good ride through the top of the zone. Will play pretty well now, but with an increase in velo has the potential to jump on hitters and get above the hands. T2212, 2110 average rpm. CB: 73-74 mph. CB need command needs improvement but spins very well. With a better hinge into the back hip Lule will keep his hand on top of the CB better giving it a quality downhill release with sharp late bit through the zone. Potential to be a swing and miss breaking ball. T2748, 2653 average rpm. CH: 78-79 mph. Luke shows the ability to have a plus changeup with good armside fade. With some work on commanding this pitch at the bottom of the zone he can create a lot of swing and misses/weak ground balls. T1809, 1747 average rpm. ATH: 7.32 runner in the 60. 1.83 and 4.09 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Average runner with long strides but does a good job of starting down in the legs. 30.50 max vertical.

Luke flashes the ablility to pull the ball with some decent power. He rotates heavily east to west with the upper half resulting in him wrapping around the ball at times rather than staying through it. Arm: RH. INF-80 mph. Slightly stiff 3/4 arm slot. Arm pretty quickly and he does a good job of throwing from lower slots when on the move. Has some decent carry on the ball when he stays through his throw. Defense: Good glovework, brings ball to center of the body well after recieving. Smooth transfer from glove to hand. ATH: 7.32 runner in the 60. 1.83 and 4.09 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
