1.5.19
Cisco JC commit. Douthitt has a lean-projectable pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. The right-hander has an up tempo delivery with a short arm circle and quick hand out front from a ¾ release. When he stays on top of his fastball the pitch has sinking action at 85-86 mph. Changeup has fade and depth at 75-77 mph. Curveball shows early break with gradual depth at 68 mph.
8.12.18
Cisco JC commit. Douthitt has a long-limbed, projectable pitchers frame at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. He was 86-88 early in his outing, creating tilt and angle on his fastball from the windup. The right-hander has a deceptive arm stroke with a quick hand out front that creates heavy movement on his fastball. Velocity drops a tick out of the stretch when he slide steps (82-85), but when he gets in a quarter turn with his hips, he still creates the same movement and athleticism down the mound with higher velocities. Curveball was 71 mph with 11/5 shape, and 66 mph out of the stretch.
06.19.18
Wiry-strong, quick twitch frame at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. and threw every fastball at 86 mph with arm-side run from a high slot with a quick arm swing. He spun a 12/6 curveball with depth at 70-71 mph, and showed feel for a changeup with arm side fade at 75-79 mph.  Douthitt works in-line to the plate with his delivery and lands square, as well. He has a live arm, and there is more arm strength ahead as Douthitt continues to mature. A left-handed hitter, Douthitt also showed some snap in the barrel during BP, with line drive power, hard contact, quick-twitch hands, and an exit velocity of 93 mph.  He stays behind the ball well with his body, and barreled balls with backspin into the right-center field gap. Douthitt had good feet at first base, and his arm strength translated as he made accurate throws topping out at 84 mph. He ran a 7.29 laser-timed 60.

02.19.18
6-foot-2, 175-pound, muscular frame. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a quick hand out front. His fastball sat 83-86 mph. Curveball ranged from 70-72 mph. Changeup was his best offspeed pitch on the night at 77-80 mph.
