The Sophomore RHP and our #2 player in the ‘24 state rankings made his debut Friday night. The Mississippi State commit was on a tight pitch count but showed us what makes him special. The fastball peaked at 90 and sat 87-89. He has been up to 94 in bullpens recently, so as the season goes on and it warms up i expect the velo numbers to continue to rise. He showed the high spin breaking ball and + change up that we have grown accustomed to. The pitchability of Frankel is what separates him from most as he has the ability to hit all 4 quadrants of the strike zone when he wants with all of his pitches.
