Uncommitted 2019 LHP/1B Cameron Dayton (6-3, 190) has been impressive this year, hitting in the clean-up spot for Round Rock. Dayton continued to deliver at the plate for the Dragons against McNeil, notching an RBI single and later a well struck RBI sac fly. Both those at-bats he used the opposite field. A projectable left-handed hitter, Dayton has been a large part of the Dragon's success this year, both on the mound and at the plate.

Standing 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, Dayton held down the Rouse offense throughout a long and deceptive delivery. His fastball was 80-82 mph through the entire game and effectively mixed in a sweeping curveball at 67-71 mph, and changeup at 74-76 mph. Dayton also lead the way at the plate collecting multiple hits, the most notable being a home run to dead center. I’ve been impressed both times I’ve seen Dayton at the plate this year, and with plenty of room to fill out he will continue to be a threat in the area. Threw four scoreless innings, allowing only one hit and one walk, while striking out four.
