Johnson provides a veteran presence up the middle of the field and will hold down SS for the Greyhounds this season. The undersized left handed hitter provides speed and experience at the top of the lineup. Johnson gets away with an at times “pull happy” approach but his speed allows him to put pressure on the defense and create some issues on the baes paths. The Wichita State commit will be the spark plug at the top of the lineup for one of the best 4A schools in the state.
