Nate Stoots, Science Hill (TN), 2026 Positional Profile: 3B/RHP Body: 6-1, 185-pounds. Thick and physical frame that has present strength and developed thighs. Should continue to lean out as he adds muscle. Delivery: Clean body mechanics with an understanding of how to use his body. Great feel for his off spead and ability to use it. Really works from the hips, and allows those to fire and clear before the upper half follows through. Works fastball well to the outer part of the plate to righties. Arm Action: RH. High over the top arm action that carries whip behind head. FB: T83, 82-83 mph. FB has good spin with decent induced vertical, he will get good results pitching vertically. Will be hard for hitters to get on plane T2025, 1925 average rpm. SL: 71-71 mph. SL has more side to side movement, spins well. Needs to be in the zone more but could be a swing and miss pitch for him T2100, 2079 average rpm. CH: 77-79 mph. Slows down his tempo and arm speed to create the pitch. Just is a pitch that is young in its development. Similar shape to his fastball, but without the addtional horizontal movement. Must work to stay inside that pitch long and kill spin with fastball arm speed and intent. T1741, 1686 average rpm. ATH: 7.47 runner in the 60. 4.14 in the 10 yard split. 27.90 max vertical.

Should continue to lean out as he adds muscle. Hit: RHH. Even stance, small leg lift into the swing. Relaxed hands start on plane with ear, while starting with seperation. Quick movements as he starts his swing, gap-to-gap round of BP. Pop to all fields. Hits the low ball well, gets the head of the bat out front. 72.3 mph bat speed with 27 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 83.4 mph. 356' max distance. Arm: RH. INF-90 mph. High 3/4 arm action that has some whip and carry with it. Shorter ball to ear action with a fluid longer release. Defense: Defensivily sound and demonstrates clean body mechanics when moving. Coordination when turning over his hips to his backhand while having ability to bend with the baseball. Quick get off with out in front glove. Works through the baseball well with a quick transfer and lead block of his hips for maximum oblique force output on his follow-through his with upper half. ATH: 7.47 runner in the 60. 4.14 in the 10 yard split. 27.90 max vertical.
