Uncommitted. 6-foot-6, 195-pound right-handed pitcher, long extra large frame, room for plenty of additional strength. Arm works quick and long on the back-side, gets out front to a over-the-top slot. Has made a considerable jump in velocity since we last saw him in June (sat 82-84, touched 86), now sitting 86-88, touching 89 (2000-2200rpm) with armside run. Good feel for 12/6 curveball at 79-81 (2100rpm). Filled up the zone with both pitches.

The top uncommitted newcomer to the 2020 rankings. Similar to Fanning, Lewis is towering on the mound at 6-foot-6, 195-pounds. Showcased fastball at 82-86 w/ nice 12/6 breaking ball at 67-69. This long lever right hander is one to follow heading into the 2020 season.

6-foot-5 190lbs; right handed pitcher. Tall, projectible frame with room left to grow into. Over the top arm slot with very clean mechanics. The uncommitted rising senior got up to 86 on the gun at 1900rpm. Also flashed a CB with 12/6 shape. Lewis got 6.5ft worth of extension showing that his velo plays a little more than what the gun reads.

Lot of projection, nowhere near his frame potential. Pitches from a full wind-up w/ short rocker step into first base side of the rubber and hands over his head. Chest high leg kick w/ short hip turn into hip drive and H ¾ release. Creates downhill angle. Small stab in back. Rotational throw. Some head violence. FB w/ short arm-side run. Medium downer CB w/ proper shape/rotation, average depth. Cutter moves like a SL w/ short ¾ tilt. Late breaker. Firm CH w/ some sink. Around the zone, developing command. Intriguing follow into the spring as the body matures.
6/13/17 - H-1B: 4.95, Position Velocity: 76, Exit Velocity: 84 6’4, 180-pound, RHH was a guy that continued to catch our collective eye on a number of occasions throughout the day. Lewis has a tall, lean, and athletic build that leaves a ton of room for growth and development throughout the next three years. He’s loose in the box and uses a smooth stride to generate some consistent rhythm at the beginning of his swing. Long arms get some good extension through contact and could produce some serious power down the road. Defensively, makes the plays and works well around the bag. Could improve his footspeed to make himself a little more versatile. Went 1-4 in game play.
6/13/17 - Max FB: 78, FB: 75-78, CB: 64-66, 6-foot-4, 180-pound, RHP has a tall and lanky frame that leaves a ton of room for growth and improvement over the next few years. Lewis stays under control and currently shows a fairly low-effort delivery. Hand can be quick at times and create a solid jump out of his hand. Fastball was pretty straight but can run when kept in on righties and away from lefties. Curveball showed 12/6 shape with some gradual movement at the plate. Look for Lewis to continue to fill out and turn some heads.
