5 foot 11. 165-pound RHP. Smaller, lanky frame showed a fastball w/ some life at a low ¾ arm slot. Showed some lean strength, projectable. Threw from the stretch only on the 3rdbase side of the rubber. FB showed consistent run and sink when down in the zone. CBhad proper shape from arm slot. Showed ability to go up with the fastball when needed. Threw both pitches in the zone.
2/3/19 - 5-11, 165-pound righty shows intriguing fastball life from a low slot. Medium, athletic frame w/ some well-proportioned lean strength, projectable. Pitches from the stretch only from the 3rd base side of the rubber and side-arm release. Lifts the leg and goes. Can get stronger with his glove-side, will pick up a tick or two and help his direction. Learning to be explosive, drive off the back-leg. FB shows consistent arm-side run, expected life from the slot. SL flashed proper shape, tended to back up on him on this day. When keeps fingers on top of the ball, shows proper rotation. CH was best secondary on this day, showed arm-speed, fade and sink. Around the zone, projects to command.
