TN State Tourney Report: D-I, Class AA

The state tournament has concluded and champions earned their title
We will take a look at each classification and discuss the standouts players and champions below that we were able to lay eye son.
Division I, Class AA saw 8 teams come to Murfreesboro. Greeneville was able to come away with the championship, winning it over Riverside 11-0. In addition to that game, we caught the 5th inning on of the Stewart County vs. Elizabethton game and then the entirety of the Grundy County vs. Riverside game. Read up on standouts below:

3-3, 2B Lead-off hitting CF set the tone with three hits. Medium, athletic frame w/ lean strength, projectable. Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, crouched stance w/ short, quick hand rhythm into leg kick and short hand load where hands drop slightly. Generates above average bat speed through the zone w/ knack for back-spin. Ball carries off the bat. Aggressive approach, wants to swing the bat. Projectable all fields power as frame matures. Above average runner shows ability to use the bunt game. Defensively, shows above average range in CF w/ carry to target arm strength. |
