6’1, 175-pound middle infielder showed a big offensive jump since we last saw him in January, improving his exit velocity by 9 ticks and continuing to see his work in the weight room pay off. Medium, athletic frame w/ some well-proportioned lean strength, super projectable. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ quiet hands into leg kick and short load. Generates above average bat speed through the zone, whippy. Explosive bat speed. Led the event with the top exit speed of 98.45 per Trackman. Did not show any issues repeating his leg kick, tended to be on time in game. Pull power type w/ chance for all fields power as frame continues to mature. Defensively, stays low w/ solid hands and footwork w/ the arm strength to stay on the left side of the infield.
