6-foot-2, 230-pound, strong, physical athletic, durable catchers frame. Well proportioned, with strength throughout. A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate, starts open, loose hands. The barrel has life through the zone, works with easy effort. Drove the baseball with authority to both gaps during batting practice. Creates lift, with good backspin to the baseball, had an exit velocity of 101 mph. Defensively, is very sound behind the dish, moves well, hands are very strong, with hands and feet working together in transfer to release. The arm action is whippy from a natural slot, clocked at 74 mph, with a pop time of 1.92-2.09. Worked out at third base, threw 80 mph across the diamond, glove was soft. Could stay lower gaining more ground from catch to transfer. Off the mound, simple leg kick into inline direction. Glove side comes off, with additional backside help would aid in velocity jump. The fastball was clocked at 78 mph. The breaking ball showed proper spin and action at 67 mph. Big prospect behind the plate and in the box, will need to continue to work on the conditioning part of his game.
