The uncommitted outfielder from ABC had one of the better overall weekends at the dish for the Canada Selects. He possesses one the best hit tools in the 2024 class and that was on full display in Vegas. He uses a balanced approach with controlled aggression to spray the ball all over the field. During his round of BP on the workout day, he hit multiple out and reached a max exit velocity of 101.6 mph. In the outfield, he has a strong arm with carry reaching an OF velocity of 88 mph. Lemay opened some eyes at the West Coast Games, and will continue to do so going forward.
5/12/23
2024 OF Remi Lemay (uncommitted) continues to be one of the more productive bats every time we get a look at him in-game. Our second extended look at Lemay following the Langley Blaze Pro Tour and the bat speed and hit tool from the left-side continue to stand out against higher-level arms. Compact build at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds with average speed and movements in his game. While he hasnt shown a ton of juice yet this year, hes consistently made hard contact and has been putting the ball in play with an aggressive approach at the plate. Has proven to be one of the better 2024 hitters in Quebec and is one of the top uncommitted positional players in the province.
4/10/22
Lemay, a 511 180lbs uncommitted 2024 out of the ABC baseball program has some major tools to offer on both sides of the field. At the plate Lemay has a smooth and explosive swing from the left side with some pop to the pull side. Has a simple approach with lots of loud barrels to the gaps. The Barrel whips through the zone fast with a flat bat on contact. In the outfield the arm is live with a long loose arm action. Had a great showing at the ABC Pro day and will be player to watch out for schools looking for an outfielder that can swing it.
